From such an early age.What followed were decades of counting. Every calorie. Every pea on my plate. But here's what's wild - during that same period, I was also obsessively counting spare change I'd find on the ground, calculating exactly how many hours of sleep I was getting, documenting my mood every single day.The more out of control life felt, the more I counted and documented and controlled.No one ever asked me the questions I ended up asking myself about my "disordered" eating. ....questions that eventually freed me from the obsessive cycles.
