When I was a first year teacher, I struggled with classroom management. My students were constantly out of their seats, they were a chatty class, and I always had to stop instruction to address disruptive behavior. But then in my second year of teaching I discovered a way to automate my classroom. Now I get to sit back at the kidney table, teach small groups, and sip my coffee without having to worry about what the rest of the class is doing.
