#155 The Hollinwell Incident

During an annual show in a Nottinghamshire mining community in July 1980, hundreds of children began experiencing dizziness before they started collapsing. The official report attributing the cause to "mass hysteria". One officer described the situation as resembling a battlefield, littered with bodies.
