#160: The Caregiver Matter

from God & Therapy Podcast w/ Dr. Cheryl Hardy · host Dr. Cheryl Hardy

In today's podcast episode, Dr. Cheryl Hardy has a message for Caregivers.   Caregiving is often a thankless and demanding role. Caregivers hold immense power and responsibility, as they must balance the complex task of caring for their loved ones while also maintaining their own well-being. Navigating the logistics of doctors, nurses, health aides, insurance adjusters, Medicaid, and Medicare is significant work that requires constant dedication.   I ask you to keep these individuals in our thoughts and prayers, and more importantly, that we will show up for them. We can offer our support by taking them out to lunch or simply making a phone call to remind them how vital and appreciated they truly are.   I want to thank you in advance for your support in highlighting the importance of those who care for others. We are looking forward to you being a part of the God and Therapy Community. To get connected, email Dr. Cheryl and let her know you want to be included.  [email protected] ** To purchase a copy of Dr. Cheryl's Book, Therapy Is Not the Enemy – The Christian Novel, and other self-care resources, including Rebuilding a New You – A Self-Care Journal, go to www.drcherylhardy.net/shop or Amazon.
