165: September Reset - Check in with Yourself!

from MUVE Forward · host Michelle Wolfe

The month of September notoriously means changes and shifts; and this year, is no exception. It’s easy to get caught up in new routines and less daylight, and “hibernate” through the winter months. You know the drill, slipping into those big comfy sweaters and letting go of our healthy habits such as daily movement or nourishing our bodies with the nutrients it so desperately needs to thrive. Today I’m diving into the things you can be doing to keep you on track this Fall and ENJOY the balance of living a healthy lifestyle. On this episode we dive into: Why living a healthy lifestyle is important for our well-being, both physically and mentally. Knowing how to live a healthy lifestyle, but not acting on it … and how to break this pattern! Understanding that healthy living doesn’t have to be hard! What WILL work for you … (hint: consistency)And then … how to break the habit of falling out of consistent habits … BEFORE falling out of them! How you can make “healthy” work for you. Deciding to stay committed to your goals and to show up for who you truly want to be.The take-home: Consistency is truly the key to just about everything in life. Keep checking in with yourself on the things that are most important to you. No matter your current goals, ask yourself if you could be adding in more you time - or more water - or more rest - or more vitamins - or more movement … this list goes on! Do your best to tune in and figure out what your body needs in each season of life; because there is a reason for all of those things! So if you’re sitting there thinking about already throwing in the towel until next spring - DON’T!! I’m here to tell you that you’ve got this. I’ve been there, I get it!! But trust me when I say: it is a lot easier to live healthy than it is to live unhealthily. What I wish for you this Fall instead is this: Cozy up by the fire in your oversized sweater with your favourite hot drink and enjoy every moment of it! But also, set aside even 15 minutes each day for yourself to take in the gorgeous colours of the season, to breathe in the crisp fall air, to move your body, and to just enjoy your life. If you’re ready to be held accountable to a consistent routine that works for you, reach out to me! Get in touch with Michelle: MUVE FORWARD Wellness Program for Female Hustlers: https://www.muvelife.com/the-muvementMUVE FORWARD Website: https://www.muvelife.comINSTAGRAM: @muvelife EMAIL: [email protected]—I am now working with one of my favourite brands, Puratae!
