Send us Fan MailPrior to joining the Port of Argentia, Scott held progressive operational leadership roles with Pennecon, most recently as the General Manager of Marine & Logistics. Before joining Pennecon, Scott honed his business acumen and skills in business development, financial management, and community relations working with Bell Aliant, the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and as a part of the Hebron GBS project. Scott is also an active community volunteer, having served as Board Chair of the Bay Bulls-Bauline Athletic Association for the last 12 years.Port of Argentia is a heavy industrial seaport located on the southeastern portion of the island of Newfoundland, Canada.Formerly the site of a U.S. Naval Base, Argentia is being redeveloped with a diverse group of port users and tenants providing support services to key industry sectors, such as marine transportation, renewable energy, aquaculture, offshore oil, and mining.Port of Argentia is establishing North America’s first and only monopile marshalling port in support of US energy transition. Argentia’s strategic location and proximity to US offshore wind developments are key factors in securing contracts to receive monopiles for laydown and storage.
