17: Gaslighting

from TAO-Living with Lou Corleto

Have you ever heard of gaslighting? "Gaslighting" once referred to extreme manipulation that could induce mental illness or justify commitment to a psychiatric institution. It is now used more generally and is now simply defined as to make someone question their reality." From Wikipedia". In 1491 what did people 'know to be true' about the shape of the earth? It was flat of course! How did they know that? Someone told them and that was the 'paradigm' of the times. Until that paradigm was challenged and shown a different reality existed, the earth was round. You have probably heard of the parable of the Cherokee boy who had a dream asking his grandfather the shaman which wolf (the angry one or the loving one) will win the fight he had in his dream. His grandfather answered with a question, grandson which will you feed? So in these challenging times, I'm asking you, are you feeding your faith or your fear? Are you aware of the CNN staffer that tells Project Veritas its network played up COVID-19 death toll for ratings? Charlie Chester, a technical Director at the cable network, was filmed by Project Veritas during a series of fake Tinder dates as he explained how "Fear really drives numbers." "COVID? Gangbusters with ratings," Chester told the unidentified PV staffer. "Which is why we constantly have the death toll on the side," he continued, making reference to the coronavirus death tracker that would appear on the screen. "It would make our point better if [the COVID death toll] was higher. Going on to reference the death toll, Chester then said he had "a major problem with how we're tallying how many people die every day, because I've even looked at it and been like, look at it and be like, 'Let's make it higher.' Like, why isn't high enough, you know, today?" Let's look at some real numbers- important numbers that deserve our true attention. Over 16,000 USA veterans take their own lives every year (~45 every day). 365,000 kids are reported missing reported to the FBI in 2020 alone. VAERS (vaccine adverse events reporting system) data released Friday, Oct 15, 2021, by the CDC included a total of 778,685 reports of adverse events following COVID vaccines, including 16,310 deaths and 111,921 serious injuries between Dec. 14, 2020, and Oct. 1, 2021. "Gaslighting" to make someone question their reality." Prevent gaslighting and be a critical thinker. Stay awake choose freedom over fear.
