Rádi bychom vám popřáli vše nejlepší do nového roku 2022 a při té příležitosti se s vámi podělili o krátké ohlédnutí za klimatickými událostmi minulého roku. Shrnujeme v něm,  co se dělo s klimatem samotným a co se odehrálo v oblasti společenské transformace, politiky a legislativy. V rozhovoru s Ondrášem Přibylou diskutujeme zejména o různých extrémních projevech počasí, které se v posledním roce vyskytovaly ve světě i u nás: povodně v Německu, sucho a požáry v Severní Americe nebo třeba tornádo na Moravě. Z hlediska klimatické vědy představují v tomto ohledu důležitý posun především tzv. atribuční výzkumy, díky kterým dokážeme velmi rychle spočítat, do jaké míry je (a není) za daný jev zodpovědná klimatická změna. V epizodě se však zaměřujeme i na dění ve společnosti v roce 2021, například rostoucí ceny elektřiny v Česku nebo návrat USA k Pařížské dohodě. Důležitou událostí byla také podzimní konference v Glasgow, její shrnutí ale přineseme v samostatné epizodě.
