17. Powerlessness is BS and It Keeps Sex Addicts Stuck

Listen, you weren’t born with this sex addiction. You created it over time. And, you’re going to have to use your power to uncreate it. There’s a difference between knowing that you don’t yet have the capability of solving a problem and giving away your power. I’m telling you, as someone in recovery myself, don’t give away your power. Therapists will help you, your peer support group will help you, intensives and treatment centers will help you.
