17. Vulvodinia: dolor en la vulva sin infección ni causa visible

¿Ardor o dolor en la vulva con exámenes “normales”? Eso también tiene nombre… y merece atención. En este episodio hablamos de una condición poco discutida en consulta médica: vulvodinia, una causa frecuente pero muchas veces invisible de dolor pélvico crónico. Exploramos qué es, cómo se manifiesta, cuáles son sus subtipos (provocada y generalizada), cómo se diagnostica y por qué puede coexistir con otras condiciones como disfunción del piso pélvico o neuralgia del pudendo.Muchas pacientes describen ardor, picor, punzada o irritación en la vulva aun cuando laboratorios y estudios salen normales.
