173. Navigating Museums, Children's Museums and Gift Shops

Erik and Melisa Nielsen share their experience and tips for navigating museums, children's museums and gift shops. As a homeschool family it can feel like going to all the museums is a great opportunity to learn and connect the lessons. Keeping in mind age appropriateness, special needs and over stimulation is a must. Gift shops can always be a challenge. Even more so when it's at the end of the day and required to walk through to exit. An over stimulated exhausted child and gift shop are not a good pair. Preparing the child in the car on the way there and reminding them at the museum the plan for navigating the gift shop can be the key to your successful exit.
