The Bankrupt Millionaire
by Samia Burton
Hey Suga, I'm Samia B. & welcome to my world of audio. This podcast is home to the different chapters of my work as a creator, podcaster, and founder of Sexual Essentials. I've been creating for years, and my work evolves as I evolve, so this space brings everything together in one continuous timeline. At the beginning you'll find the first 75 episodes of Not Just Another Sex Podcast, where a lot of my work around revealing the woman behind Sexual Essentials began, this show has amazing guests and even some solo with Samia episodes. Next the episodes transition into The Bankrupt Millionaire, my current podcast organized by seasons, where I share the deeper story of how I went bankrupt only 3 years after becoming a millionaire. This show dives into how most of us have been bankrupt or a millionaire but we don't recognize it because we aren't looking past the financials. Odds are if you are bankrupt in one area of your life you're probably bankrupt in another. You'll also hear audio vers

dear diary #20, minimize the obstacles when aiming for alignment
I'm appreciative every time I see in real time that me taking a gap year on life was worth it, figuring out how to live again after becoming someone new isn't much different than when you're young no matter what, you won't know the answers but its about learning how to read the signs while navigating where you're headed even if you don't know the final destination. dear diary #18, you're rushing & you don't even see it
I know that I recorded this but my gawd I needed to hear this again while I was editing it. I know that my creative process isn't as linear as I thought it would be but this message was so important. im grateful that im learning to slow down even with my own creations because truth is the thing I need or the motivation I can't find is renewed when I listen back to my work but often I dont because I fear my own criticism when truth is similar to going to the gym ive never regretted listening back to my work. I draw out my process now and it took me a while to give myself permission to, recording the thought is one part and does something for me but I still edit in order os it may be a couple of weeks before I edit so then I listen again to edit and then I get something else from it and then weeks after its actually posted I go back to cut clips and by then I am really just getting high on my own supply and I need it more than I know. its not just a bout posting your work its making sure you connect with it fully before putting it out so that you aren't blinded or confused my validation. that was my reflection after listening back and hope you all truly take a listen to this and see you all on Sunday at 9pm est xoxo Watch on Youtube All my Links

dear diary #16, isn't this what we been preparing for?
if you're feeling uneasy I promise you there's clarity nearby, figure out how you feel and then assess what's going on around you and I promise there's probably a very simple solution or understanding nearby. your life is a mirror to your inner world even in moments of confusion, how you're perceiving the things around you probably holds answers to what's confusing inside. today I was reminded this is wtf we worked for its actually time to be excited!!! it's here Watch on Youtube Click HERE to checkout all my links! see you at 9pm est every sunday for our community catchup xoxo

dear diary #15, will you recognize what you need when you see it
how do I become a person that can recognize what's best for me. It's not about having the answer but being able to see what isn't there and what isn't being said to really anticipate what would be best for me...that's a lot of pressure. how do you know you've become the person that can choose right? My community and I meet weekly at 9pm est every Sunday, we would love to see you there or check out my other episodes or one of my youtube series xoxo All My Links HERE

dear diary #14, using free will & starting with joy first
You ever feel like you're not using your free will enough? Sometimes that's how I feel. We complain about how our lives our but your routine though originated from something else isn't required. On this particular week I took my weekend first and honestly it was liberating because I'm realizing more and more everyday I sign these big girl permission slips. Nobody else. dear diary #13, were the holidays a mirror or a looking glass?
the holidays rocked my world, let's just say I've always had an element of the grinch to me lol between my family dynamics in the past and the capitalism undertone of the holidays sometimes it's just difficult for me. With that being said this past holiday I believe I started to understand what the other side feels like and why people love the holidays. dear diary #12, is this detachment
So many words can be understand on an intellectual level or by definition but when it's put into practice do you really get it? Detachment is one of those words that has been used a loot lately and though we can understand what it means the integration and respect for it in our lives and figuring out how to measure if we are actually doing it can be a whole other task. dear diary #11, they right about doing that journaling
Man, doing healthy stuff sometimes starts off boring. Like I believe you I really dodo but I'm uninterested!! That's how I felt about journaling until I heard this story and then looking back over my first year. 10 out of 10 recommend honestly. We be hard as hell on ourselves during the process but to look back and see how much you have done. Only real way to measure change internally is to keep registering or rereading what your heart was saying.
