Recently, while driving, an idea came to me. We don't have the ability to view failure as something beneficial if success and achievement are one of our top subconscious values. When this is the case, it's always binary. Win or lose, succeed or fail. There's never an ability to learn, because anything that isn't a success, is a failure. I used to be this way. This was the story of my youth. But after changing my core values with the help of Tony Robbins, I now have the ability to view "failures" as a lesson and something beneficial, rather than something that strips me of my identity.
