18. Derek Dares... Wins: Conversations with Derek Minno-Bloom

I am very encouraged to share this recent episode of WDW with you. Derek Minno-Bloom is my best friend. He is the Co-Founder of the Asbury Park Transformative Justice Project. APTJP, is a truly holistic response to issues of racial discrimination, mass incarceration, ending homelessness, seeing to the needs of their friends with adequate mental health counseling. Derek and I have been friends since 2005. We have been on this journey together pretty much from the beginning. Much of my process of being politicized has much to do with our friendship and our radical solidarity with people. I ask you to listen with grace.
