Theresa opens up about her painting experience from this past weekend and encourages everyone to dip into their own creativity! Theresa interviews Sarah Carlson, filmmaker, editor and producer at Growing Films, artist and community builder about her upbringing and being a part of a vibrant adoptive family and her film projects including Reframing Renewal and a documentary film on Ben Wigfall, the first African American professor at Sony New Paltz and a nationally recognized artist. Sarah also shared a new project that she is working on in conjunction with the Arc called the Cornell Creative Arts Center to cultivate a synergy between businesses, artists and people with disabilities working creatively together and empowering one another in order to achieve their goals and reach their true potential. Shana interviews Brooke Baxter Bailey about how she started Glasslands, a music venue and collaborative artist space in Brooklyn, New York. Brooke shares a bit about her personal life and the challenges of her first pregnancy, selling her restaurant and moving her life to the Hudson Valley to open The Glass Mountain Inn.
