182. Sheppard's Northern Blues

In this week's episode I am joined by Mike Sheppard. Starting out Mike trapped in his early youth but quickly relized he wanted to coon hunt to increase his fur harvest. Following the advice of a local Bluetick man, he went stright to Dave Dean to get a Hammer bred Bluetick. After that he was hooked. He started breeding dogs as he needed them and has kept a farily nice line of dogs by all accounts. After about 20 years in the coon hunting game, came a dog that put Mike on the map, Piazon. While he did his fair share of winning Piazon shined in the stud pen and his currently sitting at 9th on the historical reproducers list.
