As Southern Baptists, I didn’t grow up with Lent, and I had some misconceptions about it. But during our time time overseas, Marci and I learned a lot from our brothers and sisters in Christ who practice Lent, and we decided to give it a try. And let us tell you, it was worth doing. Lent helped us focus on Jesus, repent of our sins, and celebrate His resurrection like never before.
