She believes dentistry should be both clinically excellent and genuinely compassionate, and she takes pride in building long-term relationships with her patients. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry and is proud to serve the Cary community. Dr. Alam is a breast cancer survivor and she shares what it was like to navigate diagnosis and treatment while running a dental practice, including the difficult decisions she faced about whether to keep working or step back.
