He then attended UC Berkeley Law School, where he graduated with his jurist doctorate. While attending UC Berkeley, he was a finalist in an oral advocacy competition where he appeared before Justice Scalia, who told him. “I like you because you’re not a wimp.”Attorney Bruce has been a lawyer for 38 years, 18 as a public defender.
