Hello Dear Ones! This episode features the seasonal check-in. I have found this type of reflection to be super-helpful in deepening the practice of self-study, or svadhyaya. Svadhyaya is one of the 3 pillars of practice as described by the Yoga Sutras, as well as one of the Niyamas of the Yoga Sutras. To engage with this practice, you might reflect on the past season, asking such questions as: What challenged me? What inspired me? What did I eat? How did I sleep? What was my movement practice like? What was happening in the world and in the sky? Into the present: Where am I now? What's my overall state? Finally, into the next season: What am I being pulled toward? What would I like more of? What am I curious about? How do I want to feel? Please do share.
