199- Nothing will work for everyone

Dale Carnegie's book how to Win friends and influence people is one of my favorites. On page 177 he talks about how to win people into your way of thinking, and offers a few strategies. One line stands out to me is "nothing will work in all cases and nothing will work with all people "it reminds me that even though my messages the same throughout my contacts and what I share with my kids, I have to find different ways to say it. There are stories that I leave out of Podcasts, or ideas that don't resonate with me necessarily.  This quote reminds me that I should still share them, because they might resonate with someone else even if they have it work for me. My challenge for you is to look at your message, how do you send it, and see if you can change something so that it might resonate with your athletes in a new and more meaningful way.
