This is Gurumahan's discourse after the completion of 1st 21 days of Penance in the year 1991! Mei unarvu (Divine vibration imparted through Guru) means everything to me, I believed in it wholeheartedly. I couldn’t abandon it, which led me to reach the highest level of consciousness. Today, I sit before you as the divine light of Paranjothi. Those who possess faith never falter. That faith has enabled me to conquer numerous obstacles, pain, suffering, and sorrow without wavering internally. I focused solely on irai unarvu, avoiding distractions from various paths. It has granted me self-realization. If an ordinary person like me can achieve liberation and endure penance for 21 days without food, sleep, and in complete silence, without interacting with the outside world or seeing my beloved disciples, then you too can attain this inner freedom. Without a doubt, you all can achieve it. Trust yourself. Every individual has a purpose for being born on Earth. If you have joined this satsang, it is because of a strong desire to be in the Guru’s presence. Now you are here to perform your karma seva. After this gathering, you will return home. Similarly, every soul is born on Earth, engages in karma yoga, and then returns to the source. Now, the path to your home is clear to you, and you are moving towards it. After we leave our physical bodies, where do we go? Do we contemplate this? We often think, 'Let’s see what happens after we die.' While this body is still in good condition, we can discover the truth. That’s why, during the second week of the three-week penance, we pray for the peace of the souls who have departed and whose desires remain unfulfilled. In Tamil Nadu and other regions around the world, people’s minds are clouded with countless desires and indifferences stemming from caste, religion, race, and language. When we visit temples and pray, our prayers reach the Holy Gurus, meditators, and karma yogis. This is why, upon completing my penance and drinking the sacred milk, my heart overflows with contentment. During the penance, I have wept, pondering, 'When will people’s hearts be fulfilled? When will Mother Earth be at peace? When will the jivas find contentment?' My tears could easily form an ocean of salt water. All people should come together for "One word, One world." I firmly believe in a peaceful existence. We perceive Earth as the sole habitable planet. By attaining higher levels of tapas, we can discover numerous worlds inhabited by loving beings. Many individuals harbor polluted thoughts, leading to conflicts driven by selfishness. Ascend to the summit of the nearby Bhavani Ooratchikootam mountain and observe the entire town. All the houses seem diminutive. Similarly, as we achieve a higher state of meditation, the world will appear ordinary. The conflicts stemming from selfishness are escalating, and the unending quest for happiness and peace is sought externally. However, Santhosham, or true happiness, is not found outside; it resides within us. Send us Fan Mail Let Wisdom Flourish! Let Peace Prevail! Let us protect Mother earth! Let us protect the Universe!
