What Is the Inner Spiritual Meaning of Tirupati’s Lord of Seven Hills? திருப்பதி ஏழுமலையானின் அகத்தத்துவம் என்ன?
Gurumahan, in the 26th Velvi, explains the significance of the Lord of the Seven Hills and how the seven hills symbolically represent the seven centres within our body. The body’s 72,000 nadis and nerves culminate at Eyebrow centre. That is why, whenever we face a problem, what do we do? We close our eyes and think. We withdraw from external connections and turn inward. And where is the center associated with this inner contemplation? It is the Eyebrow center. That is why, at certain times, when we think deeply without even realizing it, where does our hand naturally go? Forehead eye. That is why our ancestors placed a dot at this spot. What is that dot? It is called *Bindu*.Why Bindu? The energy called *Vindu* is below. When that energy rises upward, it is called *Bindu*. And what does Bindu mean? It means the center of light. That center of light shines at the Eyebrow center. That is why, when the energy descends from the summit called Shiva, it becomes radiant at the brow center. The energy present there is wisdom. As it descends further, it becomes the atom at the throat, air in the chest, heat at the navel, water in the lower abdomen, and finally a solid substance at the root. This is also how the Universe is structured. As that energy descends from the heavens, becoming progressively denser, it ultimately becomes solid. Then, rising again from the solid state, it becomes liquid, heat, air, atom, knowledge, and finally reaches the state of the soul. That is why there are seven stages. So, there are seven stages externally and seven stages internally. That is why these seven stages are represented as the seven hills. The seven hills exist externally, and the seven hills also exist within us. That is why he is called *Ezhumalaiyan*—the Lord of the Seven Hills.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Let us protect Mother earth!Let us protect the Universe! What Power Lies Hidden at the Centre Between Our Eyebrows? நமது புருவமத்தியில் மறைந்திருக்கும் பேராற்றல் என்ன?
In the 26th velvi discourse, 2015, Gurumahan speaks about the power that can transform this Universe. Do we have the power to reshape the Universe? Yes, we absolutely do, because what exists within us is no different from what exists in the Universe. We must first believe this. Just as the macrocosm (Universe) is, so is the microcosm (body).Just as we control satellites orbiting miles away from here on Earth, the five elements of nature also reside within our own bodies. The incredible power to control them lies in the center of a human's eyebrows. This eyebrow center is the exact point that can execute and manifest all the thoughts generated by our brain.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Why Must We Transform Before Nature Forces Us to Change? | இயற்கை நம்மை மாற்றுவதற்கு முன் நாம் ஏன் நம்மை மாற்றிக்கொள்ள வேண்டும்?
In the 26th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan Says: “Understand, Prepare and Transform Before Nature Teaches Us”.Here Gurumahan speaks about the disastrous flood during the year 2015 leading to Infrastructure Collapse, Transport Paralysis, and casualties!Rainfall is a seasonal change in nature, a natural event. The rain fills the lakes and ponds, flows through the channels meant for it, and eventually reaches the sea. That is its natural course. We often hear about heavy or intense rainfall in the news. They say, “There will be heavy rain today.” Let it rain. Isn’t that good? Heavy rain is good for Tamil Nadu. We say that rainfall of this magnitude has occurred once in a hundred years. No one expected it. It was an unexpected disaster. When people were affected by it, what did we do? We came together without looking at caste, religion, race, colour, language, state, or even country. What did we do? We saved people. Who saved them? We did. What did we save? Did we save those who had already died? No. You simply did your duty. The moment you expect recognition for it, you have already lost the very meaning of duty. When we saved people and their belongings, what did we really preserve? We preserved humanity. Humaneness still exists in us. Compassion still exists in human beings. Concern for one another still exists. The rain came to reveal all of this. The cry for help was also from God. And who was the one who heard that cry and came forward to help? God himself. God helped God. That is not merely help; it is the fulfilment of one’s duty. Until then, we may not have done anything for people we did not know. But today, we do not even know who they are. That is why we must help without asking who they are. So many people who went forward to help have themselves gone missing. This is why, whenever something painful happens, we see that after a storm comes calm. After this flood too, better circumstances have emerged. We must learn to prepare before disaster strikes. Today, we are beginning to think about how things should be fifty years from now. But that was not how we lived earlier. We simply thought that living for today was enough. If we think and act wisely, it will benefit not only Tamil Nadu but the whole world. We often think that disasters happen only here. No. In China, for example, millions of people have been affected by heavy snowfall. But what are they doing there? They are systematically preparing and managing the situation. The same kind of flooding that occurred here has also occurred along the River Thames. Britain too has suffered losses worth several crores. But there, there was no major loss of life; there was mainly damage to property. When such situations arise, they have systems in place to move people to safer locations. But we were unable to do that immediately. The water came at night, and no one could anticipate it. It was an unexpected event. That is why I say: Understand and become clear before disaster strikes. Do not wait to be destroyed in order to change. If we believe that we must be destroyed before we learn our lesson, nature will destroy us to make us change. But we will not perish; we will learn and transform.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Let us protect Mother earth!Let us protect the Universe! Why Does Gurumahan Say the Creation of a Better World Must Begin in the Womb? ஒரு சிறந்த உலகத்தை உருவாக்கும் பணி கருவிலிருந்தே தொடங்க வேண்டும் என்று குருமகான் ஏன் கூறுகிறார்?
In 25th velvi discourse, From One Tiny Cell to Cosmic Power: Gurumahan Reveals Who You Truly Are!Action determines your karma. No matter how many rituals or prayers you perform, you will receive the fruits of your actions. If you do good, good will come to you; if you do otherwise, you will receive the consequences of that as well. Then what is the purpose of these remedies? They are meant for the well-being of your mind. At least from now on, learn to forgive. The one who forgives will rise. To create a new world and, in the next stage, a new society, we must begin by creating good children right from the womb.Look at our Puranas. How can a child born to good parents sometimes display demonic tendencies? Because during pregnancy, the thoughts and emotions of the mother influence the child being formed within her. A good seed may be sown, but the fruit it produces depends on the soil in which it is planted.Whatever nourishment we give the soil determines the harvest. In the same way, Sanatana Dharma has always taught us how a father and mother should prepare themselves even before conception, and how they should live during pregnancy. But we do not listen. We live without awareness and later wonder, “What wrong did I do to have a child like this?” That is why creating a better generation begins with conscious and responsible parenthood.Today, people like Dr. Venkataraman are conducting valuable research in this field. Every effort required to create a better society in the future will take place here. That is why we are going to build the Universal Peace Movement, a movement for world peace. All of you must take responsibility and participate in this dharma of protecting and transforming the world. For this, we need a truly global outlook. Everyone has good thoughts and good intentions, but the problem is that we do not bring them into action.A real transformation will bring about a positive change in the minds and character of human beings. Through the grace and compassion of the Divine during this 25th Dhava Velvi, may all of you attain physical health, mental prosperity, clarity of intellect and economic well-being. Many people today say that their businesses are struggling or that their finances are not doing well. Instead of looking outward, look within. When you turn inward and understand the real cause, you will realise that you do not need to worry about others. You need to examine yourself. You are not here to oppose anyone or prevent anyone else's progress. Your very nature is to progress. When the millions of sperm cells released from the father move towards the mother's egg, only one succeeds. That is the very nature of life, to move towards its goal. You should focus on your own progress. If someone else moves ahead, there is no need to pull them down or obstruct them. Your innate nature is to move forward, just as that tiny cell strives relentlessly towards its destination. That cell is you.The moment that cell enters the womb, a tremendous power begins to work within it. Scientists describe the origin of the universe as a singularity from which the great expansion of the universe emerged. That singularity, which has become the totality of existence, is also present within the womb. That immense power within you created your body. You formed your eyes, your ears, your nose and every other part of yourself. You created everything within you, and you are the one sustaining and protecting it from within.Whenever something enters the body that does not belong there, you resist it and create the necessary changes within yourself. Therefore, understand this: You are not an ordinary human being. You are that great power. The purpose of this Tapas Peetam is to awaken within you the Mahashakti, the great power that creates, sustains and transforms.Bharat will awaken humanity to this truth. It will elevate every human being to a state of inner illumination and, through that inner light, illuminate the entire world. Bharat in the 21st century will bring about a tremendous transformation. Bharat will lead the world through love.My Bharatiya Prime Minister is today the Prime Minister and leader of Bharat, and he is now emerging as a leader of Asia. May he receive the blessings to become a world leader in the future. On the coming Tamil festival, may all Tamil people attain health, prosperity and a higher place of progress in Tamil Nadu. May our farming community flourish. My complete blessings to Prime Minister Modi. He has formulated plans to develop national waterways and integrate the nation's rivers. My Bharatiya Prime Minister, this pace is not enough. This must be given priority with the urgency of a wartime mission. The national waterways are essential not only for India's economic growth but for the overall progress of the nation. May this vision become a reality, may groundwater levels rise, and may the economic well-being of the people of Bharat rise as well.May everyone be blessed. Santhosham. Santhosham. One World, One Currency, One Language! ஓர் உலகம், ஓர் நாணயம், ஓர் உலகப் பொதுமொழி!
Gurumahan’s Bold Vision: One World, One Currency, One Language!Wherever we travel in the world, there should be a common currency accepted by all nations. Economists of the world must reflect upon this vision, a single global currency.Likewise, every person needs a mother tongue. It is essential. Yet, even when we travel to neighbouring states within our own country, we often cannot communicate effectively through our mother tongues alone. When we visit neighbouring countries, our native language is not sufficient for meaningful dialogue and exchange. Therefore, scholars and experts of world languages must come together and create a common global language. My vision is simple: One God, One Humanity, One World, One Government, One Currency, and One Common Language. My beloved ones, do you accept this vision? Is it good or bad? It is good. Today, we are divided by language, divided by currency, divided by national boundaries, divided by religions, and divided by caste. What does a grandfather wish for his grandchildren? He wants them all to live together in harmony and unity. In the same way, what do enlightened beings desire? They desire unity among all people. This vision belongs to the 21st century. Where has this thought emerged from? It has arisen from ThenKailayam. This ThenKailayam (Thirumo rththi Hills) which will influence the future direction of the world, will one day attract world leaders. They will come seeking guidance and understanding.By gathering immeasurable resources and wisdom, the world will be governed under the single umbrella of love. It will happen. It must happen. For this purpose, the Universe has brought me forth from the womb. It has manifested me as a light, as Paranjothi. The Divine within has revealed that I will remain here for another cycle of time. I will be here until 2075.Certainly, love will govern the world. This world will experience peace and joy. Harmony and happiness will prevail across humanity.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Let us protect Mother earth!Let us protect the Universe! How Does Gurumahan Clear the Fears and Misconceptions About Kundalini Awakening? | குண்டலினி எழுச்சியைக் குறித்த பயத்தையும் தவறான புரிதல்களையும் குருமகான் எவ்வாறு தெளிவுபடுத்துகிறார்?
In the 25th velvi discourse during the fulfillment of the penance, Gurumahan speaks about his purpose after Self realization, give more clarity on fear and misconception about Kundalini Awakening, and what should a person do with the supreme Kundalini Shakthi! There are many secrets known to the Siddha Purushas, sages and yogis. Come and sit within this pyramid, the Pranavalayam. The moment you sit here and enter deep silence, you can reach the Null Point. In that silence, everything exists.Beyond the waking state, the dream state and the state of deep sleep, there exists a great power- a Supreme Power. Is that power present only within me? No. It exists within every one of us. It exists within everyone.By Divine Grace, I came to realise and use that power. But if I have realised it, should it benefit only me? The whole world should benefit from it.At the age of nineteen, my spiritual quest reached fulfilment. I attained the state I had been seeking. I experienced inner peace. I knew what had to be known, and I attained the supreme bliss that had to be attained. At that point, I felt:“I have attained what I came to attain. What further purpose does this physical body have for me?”But then another thought arose within me:“If all the sages attain supreme bliss, close their eyes and remain absorbed within themselves, who will remove the suffering and sorrow of millions of people?”That one thought became a challenge. And from that moment, it became the purpose of my life.Swami Vivekananda, whom I regard as my inner spiritual Guru, carried a great vision for humanity. And my Guru, Gnanavallal Paranjothi Mahan, who touched and enabled me to experience Jnana directly, gave this mission:“The day spirituality and politics unite, world peace will become possible.”So the question arose: How can humanity be united? How can world peace become a reality? One way was to take the wisdom of Kundalini to the people. But thirty years ago, even speaking about Kundalini was difficult. When I told people,“There is a power called Kundalini within you,” they would ask: “Where is it, Guru?”I would say:“It resides at the Mooladhara. When this power is awakened and rises to the crown, it can lead you towards Supreme Wisdom.”Immediately, some would respond:“If it is safely sitting in the Mooladhara, let it remain there! Why should we disturb it and bring it all the way up?”Others had even greater fears:“We have heard stories about Swami Vivekananda. They say that when his Kundalini reached the crown, his skull opened and he died. We don't want anything like that. We are happy as we are!”That was the level of fear and misunderstanding surrounding Kundalini at the time.I myself wondered how I could explain such a subject to people in a way they could understand. It took years of effort. Through Yoga, the body first had to be prepared and transformed. Gradually, people had to be helped to understand:“There is an extraordinary power within you. You must awaken to it and attain the higher state for which it exists.”But then another misunderstanding appeared. After receiving Kundalini initiation, some people would return within a month and say: “Guru, I haven't received anything.”I would ask: “What exactly were you expecting to receive?”They would reply:“That person used to ride a bicycle. After receiving initiation, he bought a motorcycle. But I am still riding my bicycle. I haven't even received a bike!”Then I had to tell them: “My dear, do not use this immense spiritual power merely to obtain a bike or a car. What you have received is something infinite. Do not reduce it to trivial desires.”Attain what you are truly meant to attain. When you move steadily towards the highest goal, whatever is genuinely necessary for your journey will come to you naturally. Do not stop with small desires and small achievements. Create a great aspiration within yourself. And what should that aspiration be? To attain the Supreme State. That is why, beside the Pranavalayam, we have a smaller Pyramid, where I ask you also to sit in Tapas.Yet, when I observe those performing Tapas, I still see desires within their prayers. How many sit there and ask for the highest state? How many can say:“Guru, let me realise who I truly am. Let me attain the Supreme State. And once I have realised myself, let every action of my life be dedicated to the welfare of this world.”That is the higher purpose of spiritual awakening. The power within you is not merely for fulfilling small personal desires. Realise the Self, attain the highest state, and then allow that realization to become a force for the welfare of the world.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Why Does Gurumahan Compare China, America and India to Body, Mind and Soul? | சீனா, அமெரிக்கா, இந்தியாவை உடல், மனம், ஆன்மா என்று குருமகான் ஏன் ஒப்பிடுகிறார்?
Gurumahan Speaks of Peace in Sri Lanka and Reveals the World’s Body, Mind & Soul: The Roles of China, America and India. If we go beyond the outward state and turn inward, when we reach that Truth, we gain the power to know everything. Will Sri Lanka attain peace? I did not say this after merely thinking about it. In 2009, they asked me on 9/9, and they had asked me the same question on 9/8/2008. I said that within one year, on the same date and in the same month, peace would prevail in Sri Lanka. Did the circumstances for it unfold?A political change had to take place in Sri Lanka. The election held on the 8th had to happen peacefully. On the very next day, the 9th, a major political change took place in Sri Lanka. Therefore, may there be good relations with Maithripala Sirisena. Through your positive thoughts, harmony and good relations between Sri Lanka and India will certainly develop. By accepting the Prime Minister’s invitation, he will create a good relationship. If this political change had not taken place, Sri Lanka, which had once been destroyed by fire, would have faced destruction by water in the days to come. Gurumahan does not wish for its destruction. A transformation is needed.Even those who appear powerful or negative are essentially good. Their minds have changed because of circumstances. Therefore, Gurumahan has chosen love as the weapon to transform the powerful into the good. With this weapon of love, we can unite the entire world. Through love, we can guide world leaders towards the path of righteousness and create a world filled with peace and joy.For this very purpose, we are going to launch the Universal Peace Mission (UPM), a global movement for peace. Through this movement, we seek to bring together former presidents and Prime Ministers from across the world. Today, only certain countries have a significant place in the United Nations. The entire world is not equally represented. In fact, the decisions taken by a particular five countries often determine the decisions of the United Nations. This must change. We must bring together all the continents South America, North America, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and others, and create leadership representing each continent. By bringing these continents together, we can create a global forum for all nations. In India, we call it Parliament. But if you look at the meaning of the word, “paar” means the world. We must create a true global Parliament, a forum that can unite the entire world and pave the way for a world government. Can this really happen? We do not need to travel everywhere and tell people about it. Today, we can sit in one place and transmit a programme to people across the world, while people in different parts of the world watch it at the same time. If something is possible through modern science, why should it not be possible through spiritual science? People once asked, “Will the Euro come? How did it come about?” When we travelled abroad, we had to convert Indian currency into US dollars. When we returned, we had to convert it back into Indian currency. The value of the US dollar was higher, while the value of the Indian currency was lower. Why should this inequality exist? Economically, the currency of one country was valued much higher than that of another. This had to change. We then thought: Why should the European countries not come together and create a common currency, the Euro? We believed that the Euro should grow stronger than the US dollar and that the dominance of the US dollar in the global economy should decline. Did it happen? It happened. Similarly, look at BRICS. Countries are now coming together and creating a new economic framework. We had envisioned the coming together of countries such as America, India and China. Today, these countries are engaging and working together. What happens when these three countries come together? They can bring about a transformation in the world itself. These three countries represent Body, Mind and Soul. China has a vast population, enormous capabilities and tremendous potential for action. America stands at the forefront of science and economics. India represents spirituality. Therefore, when these three, Body, Mind and Soul come together, they can transform the world. For this, I do not have to personally meet every world leader. I have an antenna here. From this very place, whoever I hold in my thoughts can receive these waves of positive intention in their minds. Is it possible? Yes, it is certainly possible. That is the power of tapas. Is this power exclusive to Gurumahan? No. I have understood it and I am putting it into practice. You can do it too. You can certainly do it.If you practise Samyama with the intention of buying a house, that can happen. If you practise Samyama with the intention of attaining a particular position, that too can happen. Whatever you contemplate upon through Samyama, you become. That is all.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Let us protect Mother earth!Let us protect the Universe! Santhosamhttps://universalpeacefoundation.org

What Did Swami Vivekananda Foresee for Bharath in the 21st Century? | 21ஆம் நூற்றாண்டின் பாரதத்தைப் பற்றி சுவாமி விவேகானந்தர் கண்ட கனவு என்ன?
In the 25th Velvi, Gurumahan Asks Scientists: “You Study the Atom, But Have You Studied Your Self?”This is a cycle, and I will remain until another cycle is completed. The dharmic way of life that is emerging now will remain for 5,000 years. That is why the One Divine is the foundation spoken of by all religions. Shaivism says there is one all-powerful God. Vaishnavism says the same. Shaktism, Kaumaram and all other traditions acknowledge one Divine, even though they give it different names and portray it in different forms. Islam speaks of one all-powerful God. Christianity speaks of one all-powerful God.All the sages who have appeared until now have pointed towards the same One. That One has expanded into everything. Therefore, let us create a world based on the principle of One God, moving beyond divisions created by worshipping different forms. If there is One God, who are we? We have all come from that One Divine. If the primordial substance of the Universe is One, then we have emerged from that One source, and that same source exists within us.That is why I tell you: believe in yourself. Who are you? You are an aspect of that primordial source. You have been given names such as Shiva, Vishnu, Vinayaka, Ambika and Saraswati. Who are you? You are an expression of the Divine. But you do not trust the Divine within you. Instead, you identify yourself with your body, your mind, your possessions and even your knowledge, the truths you discover through your five senses and through science. But you are none of these. There is something that is the foundation of all these. That is who you are. That is Shiva. That is Vishnu. That is Ambika. That is Kumara. That is Vinayaka.Know the Self within you. I have not come to show you God. I have come to show you the Self within you. You are none other than that. You are the Divinity that has come from the Divine. At times, you live with animal nature. At other times, you conduct yourself with human nature. O human being, beyond both of these, there is also Divine nature within you. You are Divinity.Thousands of years ago, when there was hardly any civilisation in the world, Bharat turned inward and explored this truth. Modern Western science investigates what can be seen, heard, smelled, spoken and touched. All of this is called science. But there is a source behind all this science.Scientists have studied the outer layers of the atom. Our ancestors went beyond the atom, penetrated deeper into it and discovered the truth within. Therefore, O researchers of the atom, understand the Self that exists within the atom. You are present in every atom. Yet you investigate the atom without ever investigating yourself. If you discover the Self within the atom, you will discover that bliss and peace already exist within you. This is the wisdom that Bharat has revealed to the world from ancient times, the true knowledge of knowing Reality as it truly is, and understanding the Divine principle by turning within. Swami Vivekananda envisioned that, through spiritual strength, Bharat would lead the world in the 21st century. Can it happen?Certainly, it can.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Can One Powerful Sankalpa Change an Era? | ஒரு வலிமையான சங்கல்பம் ஒரு யுகத்தையே மாற்றுமா?
21 Days in the Cosmic Womb and Gurumahan’s Resolve to Transform Humanity!I received wisdom through Tattuva Thava Gnani Gnanavallal Paranjothi Mahan. From the moment I was touched by Him, I experienced everything within myself. I transcended the physical body, subtle body and intellectual body, transcended even the Light, and experienced the Supreme Sound that shines as Paranjothi. That is the Omkara Nada. Beyond Omkara stands the primordial Adi.By becoming one with that primordial state, I experienced everything within myself. That primordial source, that great point, has now expanded into everything. What was once One is no longer merely one; it has become everything. It exists in every atom and every living being.Realising this oneness gave me the vision that all life must be united. Humanity, which has become divided, must be brought together and a harmonious world governance must be created. This 25th Velvi has brought about a tremendous transformation. In the previous 24 years of Velvi, my body weight did not decrease even when I entered the Velvi and came out of it. This time, I had the thought that I should reduce my weight. In 21 days, I reduced it from 80 kilograms by about half a kilogram each day and emerged at 70 kilograms. When I entered the Velvi, I entered the womb of the Universe. During the previous Velvis, I would drink milk in the morning and evening at the request of devotees. But in this Velvi, I consumed nothing. Water and the air of the Universe sustained me for 21 days. After three days, my stomach asked for something to eat. I told it, “Be patient. I am in a state of resolve. I want to experience the power of the universe. Be patient for another week.”The nutrients we need come from the Earth. The Earth receives its energy from the Sun. The Sun receives its energy from the galaxies, and the galaxies receive their energy from the centre of the Universe.I am an aspect of this Universe. Whatever you need, I will receive the necessary energy for you from the central power of the Universe. So be patient. After another week, the hunger arose again. I told it, “Wait another week.” I remained in that state of resolve. We receive solid and liquid nourishment through the mouth and breathe air through the nose. But there is also a way to draw in the universal energy. Just as we received the mother’s energy through the umbilical cord while we were in the womb, we can draw the immense power of the Universe through the opening at the crown. When we receive energy through this opening, that energy enters the body and reaches the brain centre. At times, even I wondered whether I should eat something or drink something. But I reminded myself that I was within the womb of the Universe. I had complete faith that the Universe would provide every energy necessary for me. That faith was my resolve.A mother fasts and prays for her children when they are unwell. She goes to many temples and offers her prayers for them. In the same way, we must develop a deep resolve for all the beings of this world. We must transform the 21st century. If I do not transform it, who will? That is why I took this resolve. For 21 days, I sustained myself on universal energy and a small amount of water. I drank one glass at around 6:30 in the morning and another at around 1:30 in the afternoon, because the body needs water for blood circulation. This shows that with determination, we can accomplish anything. But what should we accomplish? Is it to gain wealth? Is it to gain fame? Is it to establish many ashrams? No.The great teachers and sages who came before me carried the noble intention of bringing humanity together and creating peace in the world. But they were unable to make it happen.Through Gurumahaan, who has emerged from the womb of the Universe, it can certainly become possible.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Can Love Transform Even Extremism? | அன்பால் தீவிரவாதத்தையும் மாற்ற முடியுமா?
Can Love Transform Even Extremism?Gurumahan’s Powerful MessageThe duty of the Guru is to uplift you. He has come to uplift the world, and he never wishes to see this world destroyed. When you press a ball under water, it rises back up. When you press against another person’s hand, they naturally push back. In the same way, when we hurt, distress or cause pain to any living being, that being will eventually cause pain to another.Look at the terrorism we see today. Beyond the retaliation, we must ask what causes a person to become a terrorist. When we examine the circumstances, we often find a sense of deprivation. The person was not treated as a human being and was not met with humanity. What does such a person ultimately seek? Love.Where love diminishes, dharma diminishes. Where love exists, dharma flourishes. When we perform our duties from a state of love, from within, from the state of the Divine, everything can transform for the better.O beloved people of the world, forgiveness and letting go are the highest expressions of greatness.O minds consumed by extremism, realise yourselves. When you do not know your own true nature, the mind becomes filled with resentment over the wrongs committed by others. The same mind that seeks what it desires also seeks hatred. A mind free from likes and dislikes attains balance. O mind filled with extremism, become peaceful.Do not consider yourself superior simply because you have never committed a wrong. True greatness lies in living with magnanimity. When we refuse to see even those who cause harm as inherently harmful, their actions will no longer harm us, and they too can move away from those destructive actions. Therefore, let us meditate even for those who are caught in extremism. Let us meditate for the good, and for the powerful. Let us make the good powerful, and the powerful good. When goodness and strength come together, balance arises. The world will attain balance. Creating that balance is the purpose of this 25th Velvi. At the completion of this Velvi, we can experience a great transformation. Transformation in Bharat becomes transformation in the world. Transformation in Bharat begins with transformation in Tamil Nadu, and transformation in Tamil Nadu begins with transformation within you. When each one of you transforms, Tamil Nadu transforms. When Tamil Nadu transforms, Bharat transforms. When Bharat transforms, the entire world transforms. This transformation will become a positive force for the progress of the world.Bharat is blessed with abundant rivers and natural resources. It receives immense rainfall. If we harness the excess rainwater and create effective river-water pathways, Bharat can provide food for the entire world. The agriculture of this land has the potential to sustain life across the world. Therefore, Bharat, awaken! When Bharat awakens, the whole world will awaken.Tamil Nadu has the power to awaken Bharat. Tamil Nadu, awaken! Tamil, awaken! Tamil people, awaken through the spirit of Tamil. Tamil is not merely a language; Tamil is a feeling. It is a Divine consciousness. Those who awaken to this Divine consciousness can transform the entire world. My complete blessings to everyone who is undertaking tapas with Gurumahan in this 25th Velvi. Why Does Gurumahan Say That Universal Welfare Begins with Self-Realisation? |உலக நலம் தன்னை உணர்வதிலிருந்தே தொடங்குகிறது என்று குருமகான் ஏன் கூறுகிறார்?
Gurumahan affirms, beyond the ego, you are Divine. You are with God, having transcended everything. You are God. Realising that you are Divine is the ultimate education. The highest purpose of education is to help you become your true Self. O Soul, O Divine Light, you are now established in your true nature. Here, there is no ego. There is nothing you need to desire and nothing you need to attain, because you are already resting in the peace you have attained. It is from this peace that the entire Universe emerged. From the thought that arose in this silence, from the first assertion of “I,” came memory, sound, light, the five elements and all living beings. You came from the Supreme Life. You came from Paranjothi. You came from the Divine, and you are Divine.Just as a small portion taken from a laddu is still sweet because it carries the nature of the whole, and just as a drop taken from the ocean contains its saltiness, you are an aspect of this Universe. You are Divine. The essence of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva exists within you. The power to create, preserve and dissolve exists within you.I realised my own power. This Velvi is meant to awaken you to your own power. Realise yourself through this Velvi and protect and uplift the world.Protect yourself through self worship. Protect your family through family worship. Protect your community through community worship. Protect your village through village worship. Protect your nation through national worship. O Divine One, protect the entire world through universal worship. This is the Universal Welfare Maha Tapa Velvi.Let us all come together and participate in this Velvi. With the Guru within, let 1008 Tapayogis practise their tapas from time to time. Those who contribute through physical effort or financial support, and those who offer even one meal to the people who come here, to the seekers and to those engaged in spiritual tapas, receive great merit.Contribute through material service, excel in administration through knowledge, and serve through wisdom. The four varnas were originally understood through the nature of one’s service: one who serves through physical work is a Shudra; one who serves through material resources is a Vaishya; one who creates and manages through knowledge is a Kshatriya; and one who uses higher spiritual wisdom for the welfare of the world is a Brahmana. Therefore, rise to the state of spiritual wisdom, live in love, uphold dharma, and receive the blessings for a life filled with bliss and peace.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Why Did Gurumahan Give Special Significance to June 21 and December 21? | ஜூன் 21 மற்றும் டிசம்பர் 21 ஆகிய இரு நாட்களுக்கும் குருமகான் ஏன் சிறப்பு முக்கியத்துவம் அளித்தார்?
In the 25th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan’s 2014 Vision Comes True: December 21 Becomes World Meditation Day in 2024!December 21 falls between Dakshinayana and Uttarayana and is the day with the longest night. This period, known as Makarayanam, is a time when darkness increases. A seed planted during this period can bring about a profound transformation.June 21, on the other hand, is the day when daylight begins to increase and the day is at its longest. Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi chose this significant day to establish the International Day of Yoga, a day dedicated to the well-being, longevity and harmonious living of humanity.Today is the day of the Sun. Before the nights began to grow longer, our ancestors revered this day as Surya Dinam. Therefore, the early morning, when the Sun rises, is especially significant. Whatever we do and whatever thought we hold at this time can transform into action. That is why June 21, when daylight increases, was chosen as the International Day of Yoga. It is a wonderful day that celebrates the birth of Yoga for the well-being of humanity.May Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi live long. May Bharat prosper and live long. My heartfelt blessings to the international community and the United Nations for recognising June 21 as the International Day of Yoga.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Why Does Gurumahan Say, “Believe This Is Your Final Birth”? | “இதுவே உன் இறுதிப் பிறவி என்று நம்பு” என குருமகான் ஏன் கூறுகிறார்?
In the 25th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan talks about the purpose of our birth and Bharat’s return to its inner light. The purpose of your birth is to attain the state beyond birth. The purpose of going to school is to complete your education. Likewise, the purpose of this human life and this human body is to attain liberation. So believe that this is your final birth.Tell yourself, “I will not be born again. I will attain the state beyond birth and death. I will attain the immortal state, the great life beyond death.”I am Light. I emerged from the Supreme Light, and when I leave this physical body, I will merge with that Supreme Light. I came from Paranjothi, and as the Atma Jyothi within this limited existence, I will transcend these boundaries and unite with the infinite Paranjothi.Having realised who I am, I will fulfil my duty of Dharma in this world. I will perform my duties through my body, through my mind, through my intellect, and through higher wisdom by sharing divine knowledge and awakening that awareness in others.O Divine Being, you came to this world of karma to fulfil your duty. But you forgot your purpose, and so you are born again and again. You enter through the womb, a small doorway, but that very doorway is the doorway to the Divine. Walk towards that Divine doorway. That is why, during the sacred Margazhi season, the Swarga Vaasal is opened. The doorway to the Divine is waiting for you. The purpose of the Guru’s incarnation is to lead you towards that divine state. I have taken many incarnations, and now I have come with the duty of awakening humanity to its true nature as a higher, divine and enlightened race.To fulfil this duty, these 24 Velvis were necessary. The 25th Velvi is to reveal me completely, to reveal the truth of “Who am I?” and, through that truth, to reveal Dharma to the world. The 25th Velvi is meant to bring transformation to you and your future generations, a transformation in character, mind and body, so that you may fulfil that higher Dharma. Bharat exists for this very purpose. The world that was once united became divided by oceans and boundaries. It will once again move towards a united world and a higher global order. Beyond economic differences between nations, there will be a vision of one world and one currency. This is the higher message that will emerge through the Guru’s word.Look at yourself. You have looked at your body in the mirror. You have looked at your hair, your eyes, your ears, your nose and your face. But you have not truly looked at yourself. To see yourself, enter the inner pathway, the subtle channel between the eyes. The outer mirror shows you your external world and the appearance of your physical body. But the inner pathway between the eyes turns you inward and reveals who you truly are. Because you forgot this, you have struggled through the ups and downs of life, caught between pleasure and pain. Go beyond these dualities and attain equanimity. This is the very teaching that Vasishta gave Rama in the Yoga Vasishta. It is the same teaching given through the Krishna Avatar and the same teaching that Lord Krishna gave Arjuna. Krishna said to Arjuna, “This Yoga has been passed down from time immemorial. It was lost along the way, and today I am giving it to you again.” This Yoga will continue to be revived and passed on again and again. From the first century to the 17th century, Bharat was a powerful and flourishing civilisation, excelling in every field and sharing love, wisdom, strength, joy, beauty and peace with the world.Bharat was a land of inner light. Through various invasions during the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, it lost much of its education, arts and culture. Now Bharat is destined to regain that inner light and shine once again.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Let us protect Mother earth!Let us protect the Universe! How Can You Experience the Atma Within You? | உங்களுக்குள் இருக்கும் ஆன்மாவை எவ்வாறு உணர முடியும்?
Gurumahan Leads Us Into Deep Meditation, Revealing Atma as Our True State! The Self Is Within YouTo realise the Self is to discover where it is. The Self is present in everything, and it is present within you. When you believe that it exists within you, you can begin to experience its presence. Otherwise, you will never seek it.For this one minute, turn within and enter the state of the Self. What True Spirituality IsSpeaking about spirituality is not spirituality. Reading about it is not spirituality. Repeating what you have read is not spirituality. True spirituality is experiencing what exists, exactly as it is.Take a deep, long breath. Keep your eyes half closed, with your gaze gently lowered.Returning to the State of Simply BeingWhen you were in your mother’s womb, you were without breath and without speech. You were without activity. You were simply being, in a state where just being was bliss.Entering that blissful state of simply being is the purpose of this one minute. The Breath: Your Connection to LifeThe breath is the connection between you and the world. It is the connection between your body and the outer world. This breath is the movement of life. Go beyond the physical body and turn within. Beyond the physical body is life. Within that life is light. Within that light is awareness. The Journey WithinMy beloved divine beings, the purpose is to discover yourselves and enter the state of the Self, the state of inner peace. This inner state, this state of the Self, is what a Guru’s duty is to lead you towards. It is your responsibility to attain that state. We are engaged in that very purpose now.O Mind, Your Goal Is WithinO mind, the goal you seek is within. You have experienced pleasure and pain through what you see, hear, smell, taste and touch. Go beyond these experiences and discover the inner bliss, the bliss beyond worldly pleasures, the supreme peace beyond external peace.Follow the Breath, Discover the DivinePrana enters through the nostrils and emerges as Apana. Observe the breath as it moves inward and outward for a few moments. The breath is the thread. When you observe the thread, you can reach the Supreme. When you follow the Vasi, you can attain Shiva. Shiva is within you. You are that Shiva. Shakti is within you. You are that Shakti.Come within. Come within, O mind.Five Seconds Into StillnessInhale for five seconds. Hold the breath for five seconds. Exhale for five seconds. Then remain breathless for five seconds in a state without mind and without thoughts. Let the mind rest in the lotus of your heart. Peace. Peace. Deep peace.Beyond Body, Mind and IntellectGo beyond the body, beyond the mind and beyond the intellect. Enter the state of the Self.Enter the fourth state of consciousness, beyond the physical body, beyond the subtle body and beyond the intellectual body. Enter that deep inner state of peace. This is your natural state. There, the mind is no longer merely the mind. The intellect is no longer merely the intellect. The body is no longer merely the body.Everything is the Self. There is no movement there. There is no flow of the mind. There is no flow of thoughts. You Are ThatYou are not the body. You are not the mind. You are not the intellect. You are That. You are the Self. You are the illumined Self.Feel yourself.“I am the illumined Self.”Feel that awareness. Feel the awareness of the Self. Feel that Self-awareness at the centre between your eyebrows. That “I”, the Self, is pure awareness. That is Brahmic consciousness. That awareness itself is Brahman.Think, Remain, MergeWith that awareness, think in that awareness. Remain established in that awareness. Merge into that awareness. Think. Remain. Merge. You become one with the Divine state. You become one with the inner Divine. You become one with your natural Self.Where Only Truth ExistsThere is nothing else there. There is nothing there except Truth. There is nothing there except Reality. There is nothing other than God.That state of God is everything. It exists everywhere, at all times and in every state. It is from that transcendent inner state that creation happens. It is That which protects, and it is That which transforms everything. The Secret of TransformationO Yogi, the secret of transforming yourself lies there. Whatever you aspire to become, that inner state has the power to transform you into it.The power to transform you is within you. The power to elevate you to a higher state is within you.Beyond Man and WomanWoman, you are not merely a woman. The Divine Shakti is within you. Man, you are not merely a man. The Divine Shakti is within you as well.It is the body that creates the distinction between man and woman. Beyond the body, all of you are the Divine Shakti. You are That. You are That.Believe in yourself. “I am That.”Therefore, “I shall become That.”From Attachment to the SelfAt present, you are attached to the body, the mind, material possessions and life itself. Go beyond all these attachments. Develop an inner attachment to the Divine, to God, to the Self.Merge into That and become That.Transformation Begins WithinThen transformation takes place in the body. Diseases in the body begin to change. Illness gives way to health. Whatever state you visualise for yourself, whatever state you see yourself becoming, you move towards becoming that. There is transformation in the mind and peace within the mind. When you go further within, there is transformation in life itself. From Human to Divine HumanYou have evolved from a living being into a human being endowed with the sixth sense.Within you lies the possibility of further transformation, of becoming a great human being, a divine human being endowed with the seventh sense. You can live with that divine nature. You are divine beings. All of you are divine. Recognise the Divinity in All. Recognise the divinity within you. Recognise that every living being is divine. Then you will live with love towards all beings, with humanity, spiritual love and divine love.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! What Is the True Place of Women in Sanatana Dharma? | சனாதன தர்மத்தில் பெண்களின் உண்மையான இடம் என்ன?
In the 25th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan Reveals Why Widowed Women Were Chosen to Lead the Velvi and What It Truly Says About Dharma. At the end of every Velvi, beginning with the very first Velvi, whom did we first give the opportunity to carry the kumbham and light the lamps? Women. And who were these women? Widows. Why? What has society done to these women? In some monasteries, they were told, “Mother, please sit a little away.” But what do we do in our own homes? When a mother loses her husband due to circumstances, we push her aside. How can we build a family without the mother who brought us into this world? Yet we fail to give her the importance she deserves. But in every wedding, whom do we place in the forefront? The mother. You carried the child in your womb for ten months. You gave your blood as milk, nourished the child, cared for the child and raised the child. When we fell ill, what would the father do? He might say, “Here is some money. Take the child to the hospital and come back.” He may not even come along. But the mother would always be there. She would never leave her child in the hands of a servant. She would care for the child herself. So, whoever performs their duties with sincerity, there is no difference before God. Aren’t we all souls? If so, when did the husband come into a woman’s life? He came in between. He came later.Women were told that they should not question their husbands. Why were they told that they must protect their husbands at all costs? Why were they told that they should not wear a bindi or flowers after their husband’s death? They were made to believe that once the husband was gone, everything was gone. That is why the saying arose, “Even if he is like a stone, he is still your husband; even if he is like a blade of grass, he is still your husband.”There are certain responsibilities for men and certain responsibilities for women. It does not mean that everything a man does should be followed by a woman. A man may smoke or drink, but a woman carries the responsibility of nurturing the next generation. That is why the mother’s womb must be pure. The mother’s mind must also be pure and divine while nurturing the child in her womb. Even if the father is of any nature, if the mother is good, she has the power to nurture and shape society. That is why certain principles and disciplines were prescribed for women. It was never meant to consider women inferior. The Vedas never degraded women. But over time, these teachings were changed and misunderstood. Those who propagated them interpreted them wrongly.Look at the family of Shiva. We have all seen pictures of the Shiva family in our homes. Shiva, Parvati, Murugan and Vinayaka are together. Where is Parvati seated? On Shiva’s left side. That is why the left side is associated with Parvati. The two sons stand beside them. Now look at our grandfather and grandmother at home. Have you noticed? Grandfather sits while grandmother stands beside him. But look at the Shiva we worship every day. He has Parvati seated beside him, and they are portrayed together. Yet what have we done in our own homes? We have made the grandmother stand while the grandfather sits. Who showed us this? We created this ourselves. We should recognize that as our mistake. Dharma is dharma. Today, hardly anyone explains the true meaning of dharma to us.We are merely following rituals and traditions. Sanatana Dharma does not end with rituals and customs. The coming age is going to move towards true spirituality. Religion has boundaries, but spirituality has no boundaries. Through religion, what should we ultimately seek? We should seek spirituality.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Let us protect Mother earth!Let us protect the Universe! Santhosamhttps://universalpeacefoundation.org

How Does Opening the Third Eye Lead to Higher Consciousness? | நெற்றிக்கண் திறந்தால் மனித வாழ்க்கை எவ்வாறு மாறும்?
In the 25th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan reveals that the Third Eye (Ajna Chakra) is the seat of true discrimination, enabling us to distinguish between right and wrong, dharma and adharma, and genuine needs and unnecessary desires.Returning to "That" means returning to your original, natural state. Right now, you are not in that state because your mind is occupied by the three desires: lust, greed for wealth, and attachment to possessions. As long as these desires dominate you, you cannot attain a higher state of consciousness.Desire begins when you go beyond what you truly need. A committed married life with one partner is not desire; it is a natural need. Having one home to live in is a necessity, but endlessly accumulating properties becomes attachment to land. Food, water, clothing, shelter, and transportation are all essential, but wanting more than you need becomes greed for possessions. Learn to be content with what you already have.Desire arises in the mind. Wisdom helps you understand and guide the mind. Yet, most of the time, you cannot clearly distinguish between what is a genuine need and what is merely desire. That is why the space between the eyebrows, the Ajna centre, is the seat of discrimination.Touch, taste, smell, sound, and sight are the five sensory perceptions. Beyond them lies inner perception, which awakens at the brow centre. The tongue recognizes six tastes. The skin senses heat and cold. The ears perceive different sounds. The eyes distinguish colours. The brow centre, however, enables you to discern what is right and wrong, what is dharma and adharma, and what should or should not be done.Use your sixth sense, discriminative wisdom. The seventh sense is spiritual wisdom, which blossoms at the crown centre, the Sahasrara. The body represents the physical state, the mind represents the mental state, the brow centre represents the state of intellect, and the crown represents the spiritual state. Beyond the waking, dream, and deep sleep states lies the fourth state, the state of the soul. Beyond that is the Supreme Consciousness. The purpose of life is for the individual soul to unite with the Supreme Soul. This is why Chin Mudra is called the Yogic Mudra. You are not the body, the mind, or the intellect, you are the soul. The Divine within creates, sustains, transforms, conceals, and bestows grace. Every power arises from That. It is infinite, boundless, and incomparable. When you realize That within yourself, a profound transformation takes place.Knowing these truths intellectually is not enough; you must experience them. If a mother asks her hungry child in the morning whether they would like idlis but waits until night to prepare them, those words have no value. In the same way, listening to spiritual teachings alone is not enough, you must experience them directly. Those who come here do not come merely to learn about spirituality; they come to realize it. Here, the truth is not explained only through words. The Divine power within you is awakened and directly experienced.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Why Does Gurumahan Seek to Transform Human Consciousness Through the Velvis? | குருமகான் ஏன் வேள்விகள் மூலம் மனிதனை உயர்ந்த நிலைக்கு மாற்ற விரும்புகிறார்?
In the 25th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan reveals why He did not centre the spiritual path around idol worship. Why do I conduct these Velvis? Because people spend eleven months absorbed in worldly life. At least for one month, I want to turn their attention inward. That is why I continue to conduct these Velvis. However, I noticed something. Until the Velvi ends, everyone remains disciplined and spiritually focused, like devotees wearing the Ayyappa mala. But once it is over, they return to their old way of living, thinking, "We will see again next year."So, live with the five forms of purity for at least one month: purity in clothing, body, food, mind, and life force. When these five purities become part of your life, everything begins to unfold harmoniously.I have observed this in many Velvis. When I remain silently within Pranavalayam as a witness, everything functions beautifully. Every person naturally carries out their responsibility without confusion. Such is the power of inner silence. At times, I even feel like remaining inside Pranavalayam forever. But that feeling lasts only for the moment. Soon, it is time to return to action. That is why I have not centred this path around rituals, ceremonies, idols, or forms of worship. I have not placed a Shiva Lingam or a picture of Krishna here, nor have I asked you to chant specific mantras. I present only the Truth. Many people fear God. They believe God will punish them. But reverence for the Divine is not meant to create fear. It is meant to prevent the rise of ego and remind us that there is always a higher Reality beyond ourselves. This 25th Velvi reveals the truth of the word "I." Until now, you have identified the "I" with the physical body. But the real "I" is not the body. I am the Soul. This is the time to realise that truth directly. This Velvi is not only for individual transformation. It is for the transformation of the world. It is a Yuga Transformation. Can an age be transformed? Yes. When human consciousness is elevated, the Yuga itself changes.Just as we speak of the Stone Age, Bronze Age, and Golden Age according to the evolution of human knowledge, the age that is about to unfold will arise from the evolution of human consciousness. That is why I say:"Let us create a noble new world once again."Why do I say "once again"?Because Yoga means to reunite, to become one again, and to merge once again with the Ultimate Reality.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! How Did the Divine Guide Each of Gurumahan's Velvis? | குருமகானின் ஒவ்வொரு வேள்வியையும் இறையருள் எவ்வாறு வழிநடத்தியது?
In the 25th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan Reveals How Divine Intuition Chose Every Velvi Site. While contemplating where and how to conduct the second Velvi, I received a powerful inner intuition one early morning: "Between two hills, at the center of three rivers." At first, I could not understand what it meant. Where are these two hills? Where do three rivers meet? I could not make sense of it, but I decided to wait and see.As I was crossing the Kaveri bridge, I casually turned to one side and saw Ooratchikottai Hill near Bhavani. When I looked to the other side, I saw Perumal Hill. Then I looked down and realized I was crossing the Bhavani River at Kooduthurai, where the Bhavani and Kaveri rivers unite, along with the mystical Amudha River. The moment I saw a large rock there, the intuition became clear. I had imagined that the three rivers would meet beside a hill, but the message had actually been, "between two hills, at the center of three rivers." The moment I saw that rock, I knew this was the place where the second Velvi had to be performed. While travelling to Salem, I immediately informed the devotees at Kumarapalayam that I had found the sacred location and that I wanted to visit it first. When the second Velvi was performed, extraordinary events unfolded. On one side, a snake appeared. Somehow, a rat also appeared on the central platform. Both remained there together without attacking each other. I witnessed this remarkable scene myself. The moment I expressed the desire to build a pyramid, a magnificent meditation pyramid was created. I remained inside it for 21 days, and those 21 days brought about a tremendous inner transformation. While meditating there, one prayer continuously arose within me: "May Mother Kaveri once again overflow her banks." Whenever I looked at the Kaveri, tears filled my eyes. I prayed, "O Mother Kaveri, you once flowed majestically, overflowing your banks. Today, you have become a river polluted by sewage and industrial waste. When will you once again flow in your full glory?" In time, events unfolded accordingly. Barrages were constructed, and today the Kaveri carries water throughout the year. Many people believed that the river would never flow again because Karnataka would not release even a single drop of water. Convinced that the riverbed would remain dry forever, they even built large houses in the middle of it. We may think one way, but Nature has its own divine plan. That is why the second Velvi became a sacred ritual centred on the element of water. After that, I contemplated where the third Velvi should be performed. The inner guidance revealed that it had to be conducted beneath the Earth. About 11 kilometres from Salem, I found the perfect location at Amaidhi Poonga, beside Amaidhi Paarai. There, in an underground chamber, I performed the third Velvi.Having completed Velvis connected with the Earth, water, and beneath the Earth, I knew the next stage had to be dedicated to fire.Around that time, another revelation arose within me. I understood that the 64 traditional arts had to be revived once again on this Earth. Above all of them stands the immortal art of Yoga—the Saaga Kalai, the source from which every other art emerges. This supreme yogic science had to be revealed to the world. I envisioned creating a spiritual campus with one acre dedicated to each of the 64 arts, requiring nearly 64 acres, along with another ten acres for the remaining facilities. One day, another inner revelation came:"Thirumoorthi Hills. The place is there."Immediately, I remembered my days in 1981–82, when I attended the International Yoga Teacher Training programme at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Academy near Neyyar Dam. The beautiful surroundings of the ashram overlooking the reservoir inspired me to dream of creating a similar spiritual centre, where meditation halls would exist in harmony with hills and water bodies. That long-cherished dream finally took shape at Thirumoorthi Hills. Only later did I realize the deeper connection. Earlier, the second Velvi had been established where three rivers converged. Here, at Thirumoorthi Hills, three divine energies converge. That is why the next phase of the Velvi began from this sacred place. From here, I commenced the Pancha Agni Velvi. This practice is described in the scriptures. To attain Lord Shiva, Parvati performed severe penance surrounded by four fires in the east, west, north, and south, while the Sun above served as the fifth fire. She offered her own soul as the fifth sacrificial fire in this supreme austerity.Having completed Velvis associated with earth, water, beneath the earth, and fire, I felt that the final offering had to be made to the element of space. At first, I thought of performing the Yajna from a great height in a hot-air balloon. My intention was to remain there for 21 days, but I was told that such a thing was impossible because a balloon could neither remain airborne nor stay stationary for that length of time. Later, during a visit to Nepal, I found a gas balloon. Together with our trustee Subramaniam, we made the necessary arrangements. Even if I could remain in the sky for only about three hours, I prepared a place to sit inside the balloon and performed the Yajna in the heavens, thus fulfilling the vision of offering the Velvi to the element of space.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! How Does transforming MIND Improve Human Life? | மனமாற்றம் மனித வாழ்க்கையை எவ்வாறு மேம்படுத்துகிறது?
In the 25th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan shares timeless wisdom on the fine line between awareness and fanaticism. Every person should develop self-awareness, along with a sense of responsibility toward family, society, community, religion, language, and the nation. These are all important, but they should never become fanaticism. Have awareness, not obsession.Fanaticism—whether for family, society, race, religion, language, caste, status, or fame—prevents true growth. It is good to seek success and recognition, but never become consumed by the desire for fame. Keep every attachment in balance. This balance begins with a transformation of the mind. When the mind changes, character changes. When both the mind and character are transformed, physical health naturally improves. That is why this Velvi is dedicated to cultivating good health, mental strength, wisdom, and noble character in every individual.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! When Does the Search for God Truly End? | இறைவனைத் தேடும் பயணம் எப்போது நிறைவடைகிறது?
In the 25th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan Reveals That Astika Seeks, Nastika Knows!Astika means seeking that which exists. Nastika means realizing, through direct experience, that there is nothing more left to seek. As long as one is searching for God, one remains an Astika. When the search reaches its fulfillment, one realizes that there is nothing separate to be found.Astika is the path of seeking. Nastika is the state of attainment. Spirituality remains incomplete until this truth is realized. As long as we believe that the Divine exists somewhere outside us, we continue to worship something separate. When we realize that there is no separation, the search ends. This is not the denial of God but the realization of the One Reality.Understanding this truth does not mean abandoning practical life. The same Divine presence that exists within you exists in every other being. Recognizing this oneness, while also honoring the responsibilities of daily life, is true wisdom.See the Divine in every woman. Revere your mother, honor your wife, cherish your daughter, respect your sister, welcome your daughter-in-law, and care for your granddaughter. Every relationship has its own place, purpose, and expression. Wisdom lies in knowing how to relate to each person with the right understanding and love. The measure of wisdom is not knowledge alone but the ability to express love appropriately. Where love is absent, wisdom has not yet matured. The true growth of wisdom is the growth of love. That is why God is Love. The greatest embodiment of love in this world is the mother. She becomes the living expression of nurturing affection. Yet, in everyday life, a mother's love is often expressed through attachment. Her affection may naturally lean toward one child over another because of life's experiences and emotional bonds.Ultimately, beyond all roles and relationships, nothing is more important than harmony and loving relationships. These Velvis shall nurture that harmony and strengthen our relationships. The highest relationship is the Divine relationship, the realization that we are all One.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Why Is Woman Called Shakti? | பெண் ஏன் சக்தி என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறாள்?
In the 25th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan Reveals the Transformative Power of a Mother's Blessing and the Innate Strength of Every Woman. Two means duality (Dvaita). "You" and "I"—here, two have emerged. Then, who are you? And who am I?That is why, from a very young age... who taught this? Did mother teach it? No. Did father teach it? No. Did elder sister teach it? No. Then who taught it? It is right within us. We call it intuition, don't we? What is taught outside is "tuition," but what is this? It is intuition. So, is it just for me? What did I think back then? Why are all these thoughts arising within me? Can I become God? Yes, I can. That’s when I came across the book Naan Kadavul ("I am God"). Look at that what we were searching for comes searching for us. When I was 19 and still in college, I heard about this great sage, Paranjothi Mahan. But when I saw him wearing that black shirt and all, I recalled that we already had someone in our family who wore a black shirt - Periyar.Because, what did Vivekananda say? Only through celibacy (brahmacharya) can one attain the divine state. So, wherever I looked, it was all about celibacy and such things. To preserve and control that vital energy, I ate strychnine (etti) seeds every day. Why? Because if a scorpion stings me while I am meditating on some mountain, the scorpion should die. If a snake bites me, the snake should die. For that, what should I do to this whole body? Slowly, little by little, I had to introduce poison to this body and anyway, since I wasn't going to get married, why not turn the body itself into poison? So, if venomous creatures bite us, they will die. Because where were we going to live? We were going to live on mountains, where such creatures abound. So, I had to adapt myself accordingly. Then, the mother of one of my schoolmates went and told on me, saying that I was eating strychnine seeds. She pleaded, "Don't do all that, my child. You are the only son to your mother." Because she requested it, I had to stop. Well, that's okay. What if I stopped? Whatever I had already consumed would remain inside and protect me. What was the reason behind all this? It was sheer determination. To attain that state, I did whatever anyone suggested. I would leave my family and go away somewhere for two or three days. My mother would never ask. She had a belief that wherever her son went, he would return and wouldn't go down a bad path. When a mother repeatedly tells her child, "You will never succeed," those words become a powerful imprint on the child's mind. The child begins to wonder, "How will I ever succeed?" That is why a mother's words are words of grace. We may receive criticism from anyone, but we should never invite a mother's curse. Such words carry immense power.A mother is Shakti, the Divine Feminine. A grandmother is also Shakti. A sister is Shakti. A woman leaves behind her parents, siblings, friends, and the home where she grew up. What gives her the courage to do so?Many people speak of self confidence as the greatest strength. A woman lives with her family until adulthood, then leaves everything behind. She does not step into a new life merely because she trusts a man. She does not know what kind of person he is or whether he will care for her. Yet she moves forward with confidence in herself.Today, many couples choose to spend time together before making a lifelong commitment. Even then, the true strength that carries a woman forward is not dependence on another person but self confidence.Parents may ask their daughter, "Do you like this place? It is smaller than the home you grew up in. Will you be happy there?" She replies with confidence, "Do not worry. I will adjust. I will build my life there." This confidence is the power of Shakti. A woman possesses the ability to create, adapt, and accomplish anything.Where does this Shakti exist? It is present within every atom of creation. When Shakti remains unexpressed, it exists as Shiva, the state of stillness. During sleep, we remain inactive. The moment we awaken, Shakti expresses itself through the eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and every part of the body. Without Shakti, there is no activity and no life.Shiva and Shakti are not separate. Likewise, husband and wife are not two different realities but complementary expressions of the same truth. A home belongs to both equally. When a woman stands with dignity and strength, she can accomplish anything.Shakti is Woman.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! How does Penance/Yajnas Restore Dharma? | வேள்விகள் எவ்வாறு தர்மத்தை மீட்டெடுக்கின்றன?
In the 25th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan explains the science behind Yajna, the purpose of Gurukulam education, and the truth that the individual and the Universe are never separate.Restoring Dharma Through Sacred YajnasWhenever dharma declines and adharma rises, whenever purity diminishes and impurity increases, whenever the environment becomes polluted, sacred practices such as Velvi, Yajna, and Yaga are performed to restore harmony. These sacred rituals are not meant only to purify the external environment. More importantly, they are performed to cleanse the impurities that accumulate within the human mind. The Banana Tree: A Symbol of Selfless LivingA human being is not born to live only for oneself. True human life is lived for the welfare of all. This is why banana trees are placed at auspicious ceremonies. A banana tree does not live for itself. It dedicates its entire existence not only to humanity but to all forms of life. Before it completes its own life cycle, it gives rise to another banana plant to continue its lineage. This is why the banana tree is regarded as a symbol of selfless giving, continuity, and abundance. If even a plant lives for the benefit of others, should a human being, endowed with the sixth sense, live only for oneself? The Purpose of True EducationAt first, a person lives with self interest, giving importance only to personal needs such as food, clothing, shelter, and comfort. However, after receiving true education in the Gurukulam, one begins to understand the meaning of righteousness, the purpose of human life, the nature of the world, and one's responsibility toward society. True education teaches that to live well, we must enable everyone else to live well, because all life is interconnected and mutually dependent. Human existence is a life of interdependence. An individual becomes a family. Families become a society. Society becomes a nation. Ultimately, the nation expands into the entire world. You Are Not Separate from the UniverseTherefore, the individual is not separate from the world. The Universe is not separate from the individual. This is the essence of true education.A truly educated person realizes that one's own existence has expanded to become the entire world. The Universe and the individual are not two separate realities. The moment we begin to see ourselves as separate, divisions arise. The ideas of "you" and "I," discrimination, untouchability, and countless social conflicts are all born from this illusion of separation. You and I are not different. The Wisdom of the Bhagavad GitaThis is the wisdom taught in the Bhagavad Gita. Lord Krishna tells Arjuna, "You and I are not separate. I know this truth, but you do not. Because I know it, I abide as Brahman. Because you do not know it, you experience yourself as an individual soul. But when you realize this truth, you too will become one with Me." Thus, there is no separation between "I" and "you." The One has become the many, yet it remains One. The only barrier is the mind. Why the Rishis Performed YajnasTo purify the mind, the sages and great masters of Bharat performed these sacred Yajnas. In the Ramayana, Sage Viswamitra performed Yajna for the peace and well being of the entire world.A Rishi is one who has realized the Self within and has also realized the same Self in every living being. That is why such enlightened beings performed Yajnas for the happiness and welfare of all life. These are known as external Yajnas.Just as Asuras attempted to disrupt Viswamitra's Yajna, negative forces always seek to obstruct noble actions. Although Viswamitra possessed the power to remove those forces himself, he remained committed to his primary duty of performing the Yajna rather than engaging in conflict. The responsibility of a sage is to create goodness, not to wage battles against evil.Rama and Viswamitra: Protecting Dharma TogetherTo protect the sacred Yajna, Viswamitra sought the help of King Dasaratha. He needed a guardian who would protect righteousness while he remained devoted to the sacred ritual. He chose Lord Rama because Rama was a Mahapurusha who lived not for himself but for the welfare of others. Thus, Lord Rama protected the Yajna, while Sage Viswamitra performed it for the protection and upliftment of the entire world.Viswamitra's work was spirituality in action. Rama's work was righteous governance.True governance is the removal of all that is unrighteous, just as a farmer removes weeds so that the crop may flourish.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Who Were You Before Birth? Can You Return to That State?| பிறப்பதற்கு முன் நீங்கள் யாராக இருந்தீர்கள்? மீண்டும் அந்த நிலையை அடைய முடியுமா?
In the 24th Velvi discourse (2013 - 2014) Gurumahan explains that Shiva and Vishnu are not separate but different expressions of the same Supreme Reality, just as all religions ultimately point to one Divine Truth. Through meditation, he guides seekers on a reverse journey beyond the body, breath, mind, and intellect to rediscover their origin. This journey traces life back through birth, nature, the elements, the sun, Pranava (Om), and finally to the Arutperunjothi, the Primordial Source. Realizing this origin reveals that every being is a manifestation of the same Divine Light. When one merges with that Light, all divisions of religion, caste, gender, wealth, and status disappear. One sees only love, wisdom, bliss, peace, and the One Divine in all. This is the realization expressed as "One Humanity, One Light," a universal vision that Gurumahan says Bharat is destined to share with the world. The Philosophical Reconciliation of Shiva and VishnuGod is not in what is seen, but in what is heard...Because the earthly state has manifested, that very universe has expanded infinitely as this physical body, the sky itself expanding as the earth. Therefore, that which exists as this earthly matter is Arangarajan. Thus, Shaivism (Shiva) and Vaishnavism (Vishnu) are not different. If it is in the sky, it is called Shiva, and when it pervades the earth, it flourishes as Vaishnavism, which is Vishnu. That is why the consciousness that transcends all these religions is self-awareness, family awareness, social awareness, religious awareness, national awareness, and the divine consciousness that transcends all of these. This Bharata land (India) is a wonderful land that revealed this divine consciousness to the world. Therefore, they guided that divine consciousness through devotion, action, and knowledge as Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, and Jnana Yoga. So, let us remain silent for just one minute to realize things exactly as they are. Let us transcend, look inward, and move towards God.The Transition into Silent Meditation Relax your body well. Rest deeply from your feet to your head. Close your eyes gently and withdraw your five senses.By keeping my body still, I have brought my body under my control. I keep my body motionless. The body is in my control. I direct the body. Now, I direct my mind through my breath. Now, I inhale. I hold my breath for a moment. I exhale. I am in peace now. Inhale. Hold. Exhale. Breathless peace. Inhale. Hold. Exhale. Peace. Inhale. Hold. Exhale. Peace. Inhale. Hold. Exhale. Peace. Inhale. Hold. Exhale. Peace. Inhale. Hold. Exhale. Peace. Peace. The "Reverse Journey" of the SoulI direct my breath. Just as I direct my body, I direct my breath too. The body is my possession. The breath also comes from within me. I inhale this very breath. I exhale the breath myself. Thus, I am the breath. Thus, I am the life force transcending the body. I am life. After coming out of my mother's womb, it was my own life force that inhaled and exhaled this breath. When I was in my mother's womb, I existed as life. At that time, I did not direct my breath. I existed as life. Motionless, without breath or speech, I existed as life. I was life in my mother's womb. Before coming to my mother's womb, I was my father's life-cell. I was my father's life-cell. I was a luminous life-cell, my father's life-cell.Before becoming my father's life-cell, the food consumed by my father underwent various transformations and became the life-cell of semen. Thus, from my father's life-cell, I was the life of plants; from that seed state, in a state transcending body, mind, and breath, I was a seed in plants as a luminous soul. Inside the seed, I was the seed, a luminous atom. Before plants came upon this earth, since these plants grow due to rain, prior to these plants, I was the rainwater. I existed as life in the rain as that very life-water. Surrounded by rain clouds, and through the movement of the sun and the moon, it comes as rain. Before the rain, I was a luminous atom among the clouds. Now, I exist as an atom that came from the sun, as solar energy. I exist as a life-atom that illuminates the sun.Merging with the Supreme LightTranscending even the sun, beyond, far beyond the sun in this universe, I existed omnipresently as Pranava. I shone as the cosmic sound of Om (Omkara). This light, this atom, emerged from that supreme light of vast grace (Arutperunjothi, Paranjothi) through a great explosion. Thus, by the unique and grand mercy of that Arutperunjothi, I appeared in this universe as a luminous soul. Thus, transcending everything, transcending the physical body, the subtle body, the intellectual body, transcending light, transcending sound as the primordial with the primordial, I unite myself with that primordial source. I attune myself with the primordial. I unite myself with the primordial and the grace of that primordial source. You are now divine. You are now Arutperunjothi (the vast grace light). You are now a light emerged from the self-effulgent light (Swayam Jyoti). You are Paramjyoti (supreme light) emerged from the supreme light, a light within light. You are Aruljyoti (grace light) emerged from that supreme grace energy. You are Shivajyoti, existing as Shiva, in which everything dissolves. You yourself are Jnanajyoti (light of wisdom). You are the light that flourished as a light within light. You are divinity emerged from divinity. Merge yourself into this very divinity. The Declaration of "One Humanity, One Light"In that state, Everything that functions through this body is divine. If your thoughts become divine, your words and actions become divine. Oh divine beings, we are all those divine ones. The Guru knows this through his wisdom. He conveys this to the people who do not know. We are all one. One God. We are all of that same divine lineage. That is why they said, "One humanity, one Light" (Ondre Kulam, Oruvane Devan/Jyothi). All religions express this single truth in various ways. In the times to come, it is this Bharata (India) that will reveal this truth to all humanity of the world. Therefore, when you are united as light with light, everything you see is filled with light. Everything is filled with love. Everything is filled with knowledge. Everything is filled with energy. Everything is filled with bliss. Everything is filled with beauty. Everything is filled with peace. You, who emerged from peace, have returned to this peace. May bliss spread across the entire universe, and let peace prevail. Let peace prevail. Long live this Bharata, which reveals this philosophical and meditative wisdom to the world. Long live the people of Bharata. The Dissolution of All Dualities and Final Blessings You who have participated in this 24th Cosmic Philosophical Meditation Yajna (Tapa Velvi) have now become light. My dear ones, look at everyone from this light. Everyone is of light. Who is poor or rich among them? In this light, there is no male or female. There is no high or low. That light is within everything—aquatic life, plants, reptiles, birds, and walking creatures. Therefore, this philosophy of light will henceforth spread throughout the world. These light-filled people will guide the world from now on. In this state, whatever you think will happen exactly as you wish. Complete blessings for all your prayers and wishes to be fulfilled.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Let us protect Mother earth!Let us protect the Universe! How Do Thoughts Influence Our Destiny? |நாம் நினைப்பது எப்படி நிஜமாகிறது?
In the 24th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan explains the Universal Law of Attraction and how our thoughts and self identity shape our destiny. The Law of Attraction teaches that the Universe is always responding to you. It says, "I am ready to give you whatever you ask for." Whatever you think, the Universe answers, "So be it." So, what are you thinking? Within your body is life. That life constantly says, "I." But who is this "I"? Who are you? When a person declares, "I am blessed with Divine Grace," waves of grace spread throughout the body. Every cell and every living particle begins to resonate with that grace. When someone says, "I am an entrepreneur," the qualities of enterprise spread throughout the body. When someone affirms, "I am intelligent," the energy of wisdom fills every part of the body, from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet. When someone declares, "I am a leader," the qualities of leadership spread throughout the body, transforming that person into a courageous leader. Whatever the "I" believes, it becomes.Your thoughts are your life.Your thoughts are God.Your thoughts are your very life force. As your thoughts are, so you become. The moment you say, "I am poor," every cell in your body begins to express the vibrations of poverty. Even when you go among other people, you may not receive the same respect they receive. Why? It is not because of others. You are the cause. The moment you identify yourself as poor, you begin to hesitate in the presence of others. You withdraw. You lower yourself. That is why your thoughts can either diminish you or elevate you.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Let us protect Mother earth!Let us protect the Universe! How Can We Awaken Perarivu, the Supreme Wisdom? | பேரறிவை எவ்வாறு விழிப்பூட்டுவது?
In the 24th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan reveals the science of creation, explaining the birth of the Universe from the Primordial Source and unveiling the significance of the Tamil language as an expression of the original Divine Sound and Light. If we remain established in MeiUnarvu (Divine Awareness) at all times, nothing more is needed. In the beginning, the Primordial Source (த்), the Moola Shakthi, the Self luminous Divine Light, began to stir. As it moved, its inherent power manifested as Divine Sound. That primordial sound first expressed itself as Iyal (the natural state), then as Isai (cosmic vibration and music). What existed as the silent Moola Shakthi unfolded into sound and ultimately manifested as the Divine Light through which letters became perceptible. Thus, pulsations of the Primordial Source gave birth to Nada Brahmam, the Cosmic Sound. Simultaneously, it emanated waves of Divine Light. This is why creation is understood as the manifestation of sound and light energy.Everything in existence is nothing but an expression of Shakti, the Divine Power. The One Supreme Reality then differentiated into three fundamental qualities and manifested through five primordial states as the Pancha Akshara. Likewise, the primordial vibrations that arose from Life itself became the five fundamental Tamil letters, அ, இ, உ, எ, ஒ, the life giving letters (உயிர் எழுத்துக்கள்) that emerged from the Source of Life. From that original cosmic pulsation, Divine Light emerged. Colour also arose from it, first as the Pancha Varnam (the Five Primordial Colours), and later unfolded into the seven colours of the visible spectrum. These five primordial letters and five primordial lights are not distant metaphysical concepts; they exist within every atom. Hidden within each atom is immeasurable potential and limitless energy. The atom possesses the power to remain compressed, the power to expand into the cosmos, and the capacity to awaken through Primordial Divine Awareness.Do we possess this higher awareness today? At present, humanity primarily functions through the five senses, touch, taste, smell, hearing, and sight. Through these five senses, we acquire five forms of knowledge and live as beings governed by sensory perception.A person becomes truly human only upon awakening the sixth sense and attaining higher knowledge. When one transcends even the sixth sense and awakens the seventh state of awareness, one attains the seventh knowledge, Perarivu, the Supreme Wisdom, the wisdom of life itself. This Supreme Wisdom transcends all ordinary forms of knowledge. It is this state of Perarivu, the Supreme Intelligence, that governs, sustains, and directs the entire Universe.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! How Did the Universe Emerge from the Divine Light? | தெய்வீக ஒளியிலிருந்து பிரபஞ்சம் எவ்வாறு தோன்றியது?
In the 24th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan unveils the timeless mystery of creation, revealing how the Primordial Source, the Self-luminous Shiva Jyoti resting in supreme stillness before the birth of the Universe, manifested as the countless lights that make up all of existence. Before the Universe came into existence, it existed in absolute stillness, supreme peace.Within that infinite peace, there was only one Life. If we are all individual souls, then every one of these individual souls has emerged from that One Infinite Life. The entire Universe is now filled with waves of consciousness and vibrations of pulsating energy. But before these waves of vibration arose, the Universe rested in profound silence. The one and only Reality that existed in that supreme stillness is the Primordial Source, the Supreme Truth (Meipporul). This Supreme Reality remained completely absorbed within itself, resting in perfect stillness. That is why we call it Shiva. That is why we also call it the Shiva Jyoti. It is the Self-luminous Reality. Yet, in that state of absolute peace, its radiance remained unmanifest, hidden within itself. Consider a simple matchstick made in Sivakasi. Fire is already present within it, but it remains dormant. When the right conditions arise, a bright flame emerges from it. Now consider a firework. What exists within it? It carries the inherent potential and intention to express many different colours. When the right conditions are created, the colour that is meant to appear manifests accordingly. If it is designed to produce green, green light emerges. If it is designed to produce yellow, yellow light appears.Likewise, every object possesses its own vibration and intrinsic awareness. Think of a sparkler. The moment it is ignited, countless sparks burst forth. In the same way, the entire Universe emerged like innumerable sparks from the Primordial Fire, even though everything had already existed in an unmanifest state within it. Similarly, when a firework rises upward and explodes into a magnificent display of many colours, it offers a glimpse of the emergence of the Universe. That is why the Universe originated from one Infinite Light. The countless radiant sparks that emerged from that Eternal Flame are this entire Universe. Therefore, everything that has arisen from that Divine Light is itself a light. That Primordial Source is the Divine. Therefore, everything born from the Divine is, by its very nature, Divine.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! One Minute with the Moola Shakti: The KEY to Receive What You Truly Seek | மூல சக்தியுடன் ஒரு நிமிடம் தொடர்பு, வேண்டியதை வேண்டியவாறு பெறும் வழி!
In the 24th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan unveils the ancient wisdom of the Moola Shakti, the Primordial Source of all creation, and reveals why just one minute of true connection is enough to awaken infinite peace, wisdom, power, and bliss. The Primordial Source, the First Cause, and the Supreme Reality that pervades everything was realized thousands of years ago! The moment your awareness unites with this Moola Shakti (Primordial Power), you naturally attain vastness of mind, unconditional love, supreme wisdom, limitless power, boundless bliss, perfect beauty, and profound peace. From this very state of peace, the entire Universe emerged, and it is to this same state that you must return. That is why all of humanity continually seeks peace and happiness. This is also why we bless the world by saying, "May all beings live in bliss." Your true nature is joy, and this Peedam awaits you so that you may rediscover that eternal joy. When you establish a connection with the Maha Shakti, the Primordial Source within you, you gain the power to accomplish whatever you truly aspire to. You can manifest what you sincerely seek and receive what you ask for in the right way. Today, many psychologists in the Western world have begun to recognize this principle. They teach various methods of self-development and mental conditioning to help people align their minds with this Primordial Power and achieve their goals. Yet the foundation of all these principles has always existed in the timeless spiritual wisdom of Bharath. You may ask, "How do I reach this Primordial Source?" Just as you approach a generous benefactor to receive what you need, approach your mother for nourishment, your father for support, and your Guru for wisdom, you must learn how to approach the Moola Shakti itself. When you connect with that Primordial Source, everything becomes possible. You do not have to undertake severe austerities. You need not meditate for 21 days as I did, or even for a week, a day, or an hour. I ask for only one minute. If you establish a true connection with the Moola Shakti for just one minute, that alone is enough. From that state, everything flows naturally.Does electricity require an hour to pass through your body? The moment you touch it, you experience its power instantly. In the same way, O mind, the moment you touch the Moola Shakti, the Eka Jyoti, the Suyam Jyoti, it immediately draws you into itself. That single moment of divine contact transforms everything.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Let us protect Mother earth!Let us protect the Universe! What Is Nirvikalpa Samadhi? | நிர்விகல்ப சமாதி என்பது என்ன?
In the 24th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan reveals that Nirvikalpa Samadhi is the highest spiritual attainment, where the individual transcends the body, mind, intellect, and even the Divine Light to merge completely with the Primordial Source, realizing the True Self in its absolute state of oneness.I teach you to turn your Bhakthi inward, transcend the gross physical body, the subtle body, and even the body of intellect. Then realize the Atma as the Paranjothi, the Supreme Divine Light. Do not stop there. Go beyond that Divine Light, transcend even the Pranava (Om), the primordial cosmic sound, and finally unite with the Moola Shakti, the Primordial Source, the Absolute Power. This is to become one with the Origin itself. The Yoga Shastras call this state Samadhi. Samadhi has many stages, including Prajñāta Samadhi, Asamprajñāta Samadhi, Vikalpa Samadhi, Savikalpa Samadhi, and Nirvikalpa Samadhi. Among them, Nirvikalpa Samadhi is the supreme state in which the individual merges completely with the Primordial Source, without any sense of separation. In that state, there is no attachment, no pleasure, no pain, and not even the awareness of oneself as a separate individual. That is the state of the True Self (Thannilai). Every living being must attain this state.O seekers of knowledge, come! Go beyond the intellect and realize your True Self. O those who have attained Mei Unarvu (True Awareness), establish the radiance of higher wisdom while abiding in that state of Self-realization. Why Did Vallalar Reveal the Secret of the Third Eye? | நெற்றிக்கண்ணின் ரகசியத்தை வள்ளலார் ஏன் வெளிப்படுத்தினார்?
In the 24th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan reveals why Vallalar promised to return and unveils the divine mission of the Paranjothi, to awaken the True Knowledge (Mei Arivu) within every seeker and lead humanity to the Deathless Great Life.Vallalar discovered the means to open the Inner Eye (Netrikkan). That is why he raised a flag of yellow and white Through that flag, he called out to humanity, "Come! If you wish to become a great human being, if you wish to attain the Divine that dwells within you, if you wish to behold the Arutperunjothi shining within you, then journey inward through this subtle Nadi."A yellow and white veil covers the space between your eyebrows. Just as a temple acharya draws aside the curtain before the sanctum to reveal the deity, a realized master who has attained Self-knowledge can show you how to remove this inner veil and open your Inner Eye. When you open it, you will realize the Lord who dwells within you. You will behold the One Divine Light, the Shiva Jyoti, the Self-effulgent Jyoti.Vallalar repeatedly called, "Come! Come!" But people did not listen. They remained satisfied with external forms of worship. They believed that worshipping God in a form was enough. I tell you that true wisdom is to realize God exactly as God truly is. Just as a mother tells her child, "Speak exactly as things are," you must realize Reality exactly as it is.Knowledge is of two kinds. One is Apara Jnana (worldly knowledge), and the other is Para Jnana (Supreme Knowledge). One is Vijnana (scientific knowledge), and the other is Mei Jnana (True Spiritual Wisdom). It is this Mei Jnana, this Supreme Knowledge, that leads you to every other form of knowledge.Among the sixty-four arts, the highest is Saagaa Kalai, the Art of Deathlessness. This is the true spiritual art. Your physical body is subject to death, but the Arutperunjothi, the Divine Supreme Light, never dies. That is why Vallalar called humanity, "Come and live the Deathless Great Life."People could not understand his message because they remained attached to bodily existence and had not yet developed the spiritual maturity to realize the state of deathlessness. Out of boundless compassion, Vallalar declared, "I will return." Why did he say that? Not because his work was unfinished, but because he saw humanity suffering without knowing the Truth. He wanted to awaken this inner awareness in every human being. That is why Arutperunjothi has now manifested as the Paranjothi. Paranjothi Mahan quotes, "My purpose is not to perform miracles. My purpose is to awaken the Mei Arivu (True Knowledge) that already exists within each one of you. Once that inner knowledge awakens, your own direct experience will complete the entire spiritual journey".Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Is Opening the Third Eye Essential to experience Your True Self? நெற்றிக்கண் திறந்தால்தான் உண்மையான சுயத்தை உணர முடியுமா?
Gurumahan, in the 24th Velvi discourse, quotes "You Have Never Seen Yourself" and reveals Guru Nadi as the subtle pathway to knowing thy Self.If one human being born into this world can attain the highest spiritual realization, then every one of you can certainly attain it. Let me give you an example. If I tell you that I will give one crore rupees to anyone who reaches Thirumoorthi Hills at 3:00 a.m. without eating or even drinking water, who among you can do it? Many of you can, especially those burdened with debt. When you see no other way to clear your debts and I show you one way, you will gladly remain without food for a day or even two days just to receive that reward. For the sake of material gain, you naturally develop Vairagya (detachment).Look at a mother. She willingly embraces pain and sacrifice to give birth to her child. Wherever you place your deepest feeling and desire, you develop the detachment and endurance needed to achieve it.Now tell me, why do you go to the temple? You have the darshan of God, but is that enough? Most people visit temples to seek wealth, prosperity, and worldly blessings, and they stop there. But is that the purpose of human life? Ask yourself instead, "Who is God? I truly want to see God."You stand before a mirror and say, "I am looking at myself." But the mirror smiles and tells you, "You are not looking at yourself. You are only looking at your eyes, your nose, your face, and your body. You have never truly seen your real Self."Just as an external mirror reflects your body, there is an inner path through which you can see your true Self. Although your body contains thousands of subtle energy channels (Nadis), with 101 principal Nadis and 10 major Nadis, three are especially important. Among them lies the most subtle and supreme channel, the Guru Nadi. It already exists within you. Travel through this Guru Nadi, and you will behold your true Self.Do not confuse this Guru Nadi with the Nadi that reveals past lives. I am speaking about the subtle channel that lies between your two eyebrows. That is the Guru Nadi. That is the inner eye (Netrikkan). Unless you open this inner eye, you cannot truly see yourself.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Let us protect Mother earth!Let us protect the Universe! How Does Gurumahan Overcome Hunger, Thirst, and Sleep During the 21-Day Penance? | 21 நாள் தவ வேள்வியில் பசி, தாகம், தூக்கத்தை குருமகான் எவ்வாறு கடக்கிறார்?
Gurumahan, in the 24th Velvi discourse, reveals the power of Vairagya, the key to self-realization.Many people ask,"Gurumahan, what do you do inside (Pranavalayam)? We can't even sit for one hour. Do you simply sit there? Don't you sleep? Don't you feel hungry?"Yes, hunger comes."What about thirst?"Yes, thirst comes too.Pleasure and pain belong to the body's sensations. Hunger, thirst, urinating, passing stool, and sleeping all belong to the body.As long as you identify yourself as the body and remain bound by its sensations, these bodily experiences keep driving and influencing you.But once you transcend the body, you go beyond these bodily sensations. When you abide in the state of the Paranjothi Atma (the Supreme Self of Divine Light), and realize, "I am the one who operates this body," the body no longer affects you. The intellect observes the pleasure and pain experienced by the body. But the Atma remains beyond them, untouched by both good and bad.One can explain this in words. But to truly experience it, one essential quality is required: Vairagya (detachment).Yes, Vairagya is essential.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! What Does True Science (Mei Ariviyal) Reveal? | மெய் அறிவியல் எதை உணர்த்துகிறது?
In the 24th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan reveals what lies beyond the inner Divine Light and reveals the Upanishadic path to the Supreme Source. In the previous century, seekers searched for God everywhere. They searched in every temple. Finally, they searched within themselves. They realized the truth expressed in the words, "O Moon, tell me the secret by which one realizes oneself and attains bliss." They discovered that secret. Going deeper and deeper within, they realized that the Ātma (Soul) is a radiant being of light. But the journey does not end with seeing that inner light. One must ask: What lies beyond that light? Imagine a person wandering helplessly in darkness. We show that person a light, and he walks toward it. As soon as he sees the light, he finds his path and reaches his destination. Is that enough? No. We must also express gratitude to the One who revealed that light. The One who guided us stands beyond the light itself. Therefore, the seeker prays: "O Supreme Lord who dwells beyond the light, I long to behold You." As the seeker moves beyond the inner light, another reality unfolds. There, the sacred Pranava, the Omkara (Om) vibration is experienced. When one transcends even that divine sound, what remains? There exists the all-pervading Cosmic Thought that fills the entire Universe.Whose thought is this? It is the thought of the Supreme Reality, the Primordial Essence, the Original Power (Moola Shakti). This Primordial Power itself shines as radiant consciousness.Within every human being, life exists inside the body. When that life becomes illumined, it is known as the Ātma, the enlightened soul. Where did this soul originate? It emerged from the Paramātma, the Supreme State that exists as the Primordial Essence, Primordial Power, and Infinite Cosmic Energy (Mahā Shakti). That is why the ancient wisdom first instructs humanity:"Go beyond the body. Enter within." When you transcend the body and journey inward, you will behold the Ātma, which shines as the Supreme Divine Light (Paranjothi). Does the journey end there? No. Many Vedas and Upanishads describe the realization of this inner light. Yet one of the profound revelations of the Upanishads is the discovery of what exists beyond that light .Beyond the light is the Tharparam, the Supreme Reality beyond all reach. Saint Arutprakasa Vallalar attained this exalted realization through deep contemplation. As he repeatedly reached toward the unattainable Supreme and fixed his awareness upon It, he realized:"I discovered within myself the Here, the Beyond, and the One Supreme Reality that unites both." The Supreme Light that Vallalar realized is 'Love itself'. That same Divine Light is 'Compassion itself'. Therefore, that Light has expanded everywhere in the Universe as the Infinite Supreme Compassion. To understand this all-pervading cosmic expansion is science. To realize the Primordial Source behind that universal expansion is True Spiritual Science (Mei Ariviyal). Today, the land that reveals this profound spiritual science to the world is Bharat (India).Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Why Does Gurumahan Say That We Are All Light? | நாம் அனைவரும் பரஞ்சோதியே என்று குருமகான் ஏன் கூறுகிறார்?
In the 24th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan reminds us that we are all Light beings. Born from the Supreme Light, our true identity is not merely the physical body, but the Divine Light that shines within every one of us.Everything that emerged from the Divine Light now shines as light itself. That Light is self-existent. No one lit it. It is the Self-effulgent Light, the highest, supreme Light, known as Paranjothi. That Paranjothi radiates as the *Light of Grace (Arul Jyoti)*. The Light that encompasses and transcends everything is also called Shiva Jyoti. All that exists is That One alone; therefore, it is the *One Light (Eka Jyoti)*. Yet, that One has manifested as countless lights. When that Light vibrated, it became Nada Jyoti (the Light of Divine Sound). As it expressed itself, it became Bindu Jyoti (the Light of Divine Manifestation). Thus, the Paranjothi, which was once the One Light, now shines as all lights. Therefore, every one of us is Light. Everything that has emerged from the Divine Light can only remain Light.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Let us protect Mother earth!Let us protect the Universe! What Is the Connection Between Tamil and the Origin of the Universe? | பிரபஞ்சத்தின் தோற்றத்திற்கும் தமிழுக்கும் என்ன தொடர்பு?
Gurumahan reveals the cosmic origin of Tamil, in the 24th Velvi discourse.Mayan declares in his Ainthiram, "The noble Tamil is the source that governs the world."Do not look upon Tamil as merely a language. Tamil existed even before stone and earth came into being. Before stone and earth appeared, Light came into existence, and with that Light, Tamil also emerged. The very origin of the Universe is Tamil. That is why Tamil is expressed through the five sacred syllables: Ith, A, M, I, Zh. From Ith, the primordial fire, from the primordial light, the stillness began to move and harmonize. It then manifested as the Pranava Nada (Om). From that Om emerged its very essence as Divine Light.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! In the 24th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan Reveals Why the World Needs Bharath More Than Ever.I speak of this truth: humanity has achieved great scientific progress in the external world, but if you truly want happiness and lasting peace, Bharath must show the way. Wherever people are born in this world, Bharath exists to guide them toward peace. Speaking about peace is easy; living it through your thoughts, words, and actions is the real achievement. Our ancestors did not merely preach, they lived what they taught. That is why this sacred land gave birth to such extraordinary souls. If Bharath lives, the whole world will live. Can One Minute of Collective Meditation Bring World Peace? | வெறும் ஒரு நிமிடக் கூட்டு தியானத்தால் உலக அமைதி சாத்தியமா?
In the 24th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan guides us into a deep meditative state and explains the transformative power of observing one minute silence every day at 11:11 a.m.O mind, within the eyebrow center resides the formless power that embraces the entire Universe. That power exists within you as pure awareness. Keep your attention on that power.Whatever you focus on becomes stronger. Therefore, rest your awareness at the center between your eyebrows, where your inner being resides. Take a deep breath. Breathe deeply. From your head to toe, allow your body to relax completely. Go beyond the body, beyond the waking state, dreams, and deep sleep. Enter the profound inner state of silence. In that stillness dwell the great power, the divine power, the supreme power that transcends the body.It is in this deep inner silence that all thoughts are born. Whatever thought is planted there becomes reality. Therefore, let your mind settle into this peaceful state. This silence itself is divine grace. It is the infinite power of God. Within this body exists immeasurable, limitless, incomparable power. O mind, become one with that power. You are that great power. Whatever you empower with your thoughts, you become. In the depth of silence, remember your true nature. Know that you are a radiant soul. Every thought you impress upon your inner consciousness becomes a living imprint. Thoughts become words, and words become actions. O mind, enter the deepest state and behold your eternal nature. You are beyond birth and death. You are changeless, indestructible, eternal Truth. Think only of elevation, and your life will rise accordingly. Trust yourself. Recognize the sacred purpose for which you have taken this human birth. Your purpose is extraordinary. The limitless power within you can grant everything you truly need. Ask with faith. Ask for what is essential for your life, not out of greed but out of genuine necessity. Place your sincere intentions within your heart. Whatever you hold there with unwavering faith and trust can be attained. When faith and trust become complete, suffering and illness naturally dissolve. This is Truth. Therefore, go within and attain that inner state of peace. In that silence, whatever vision arises within you gradually manifests in the outer world. Know that you are a noble human being. May you have a loving family, a good community, a prosperous nation, and a peaceful world. O seeker, O divine being, may your mind help create a better world. For 21 days, let us unite in collective meditation. Every day, at 11:11, join this shared intention for just one minute. Through our united consciousness, we can create a world of peace. May everyone enjoy good health. May everyone receive education. May everyone have meaningful employment. May everyone attain financial freedom, wisdom, honor, and a long life. Let all people live with joy and fulfillment. Let us unite through this Universal Meditation for the welfare of all. When even one percent of humanity awakens to this higher consciousness, it will naturally inspire the remaining ninety-nine percent. Whether knowingly or unknowingly, these uplifting thoughts will reach others, even during their sleep. With every breath they take, these noble thoughts will merge with their life force, transforming their consciousness. This is the age of the Siddhas. This is the age of the enlightened ones. This is the time when Truth reveals itself. The future is an era of righteous global leadership. Humanity will realize the one Reality that exists beyond all differences. The power that sustains the universe is One. You and I are not separate. We are One. This is the age in which the aspirations of sages, saints, rishis, and Siddhas are fulfilled. Artists, farmers, teachers, scholars, scientists, spiritual seekers, and people from every walk of life will unite to create a better world. This is a sacred mission to purify humanity.May the Earth and the heavens be purified. May waves of noble thoughts spread throughout the cosmos. With every breath, these vibrations may enter every living being, transforming individual awareness into universal consciousness.May selfishness evolve into concern for family, society, nation, humanity, and ultimately the entire universe. This universal consciousness is what the Vedas call **Brahman**, the Supreme Reality. The time ahead will bring profound transformation. Individual minds will change. Society will change. People will move beyond selfishness and dedicate themselves to selfless service for the happiness of all living beings.May divine energies descend through the crown of the head. May they flow through the forehead, throat, heart, navel, and every center of the body. May the physical body be filled with health. May the subtle body be filled with peace. May the intellect be filled with clarity and wisdom. May we transcend all three bodies and shine as beings of pure light. Why Does Gurumahan Say, "When Women Rise, the World Rises"? | "பெண்கள் உயர்ந்தால் உலகம் உயரும்" என்று குருமகான் ஏன் கூறுகிறார்?
In the 24th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan reveals that the upliftment of women is the foundation for the progress of the family, society, and the nation."If you want to bring about a noble transformation in Tamil Nadu, begin by restoring the greatness symbolised by the Srivilliputhur Temple on the State Emblem. When women rise, the world rises.Woman, if you uplift yourself, the earth will prosper. But if you lower yourself, your family, society, and the nation will decline. That is why I dedicate this Velvi to your upliftment. By elevating you, I can elevate an entire society. All great leaders have worked for the progress of women because an enlightened and educated woman strengthens future generations. Today, many families sacrifice their own opportunities to ensure their daughters receive higher education. Around Srivilliputhur, educational institutions have empowered countless women from nearby villages to grow in knowledge and dignity.Remember, your family is like a ministry. Why Is "Who Are You?" the First Lesson of the Gurukulam? | நீங்கள் யார்?" என்ற கேள்வியே ஏன் குருகுலத்தின் முதல் பாடம்?
In the 24th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan reveals the true purpose of the Gurukulam and explains how the ancient sages performed external Yagnas to purify human breath, elevate thoughts, and transform humanity.Beloved ones, the Gurukulam was established so that you may attain Mei Unarvu, true Self-Realisation. Therefore, what must you become by making use of this Gurukulam? The very first lesson I teach here is, "Who are you?" If you fail to understand yourself, then no matter how much else you know, you will continue to live without Self-knowledge, and you will never be able to live in balance. The purpose of this 24th Velvi is to help everyone attain everything they need and live a life of joy. Until now, what has the Universe given humanity? It has continually given you time. The Universe patiently waits, hoping that humanity will awaken and transform. That is why, in every age, we perform these Velvis, to elevate humankind. This Velvi is not new. For ages, sages and seers have performed these sacred Yagnas. In earlier times, they conducted outer Yagnas by offering oblations into the sacred fire. Through that fire, they generated noble vibrations that spread throughout the Universe. Every person who inhaled those vibrations through their breath experienced inner transformation. That is why Bharathi declared, "Power is born in every breath." From this moment onward, let every breath be a higher breath. When your breath becomes elevated, your thoughts become elevated. Wherever thoughts are elevated, life itself becomes elevated, because *your thoughts are your life.*As you think, so you become. If you constantly think of yourself as insignificant, you descend into a lower state. But the moment you see yourself as noble and elevated, you begin to rise.O humanity, understand the purpose for which you have taken birth. Why Did Nature Give Us the Third Eye? | இயற்கை நமக்கு நெற்றிக்கண்ணை ஏன் கொடுத்தது?
In the 24th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan explains that only an inwardly balanced person can help bring balance to the world. When you tell doctors about your health problems, they all give the same answer: Your lifestyle has changed. You do not eat at the right time. You do not eat the right food. You do not sleep properly. Your body does not eliminate waste efficiently. So what do you need? A balanced diet. And how should you live? A balanced life. Today, balance is what you have lost. You lean entirely to one side. If you pursue spirituality, you immerse yourself only in spirituality. If you pursue work, you become consumed by work. Once you get married, you even forget who your own mother is. Look at what happens! So cultivate balance. If the world is to live in harmony, first bring yourself into harmony. Balance the five elements within your body. Balance the dual states of your mind. Balance your intellect. To balance your intellect, harmonise your left and right hemispheres of the brain. Then you will perceive nothing but the truth. Today, you cannot distinguish truth from falsehood. That is why you have the Third Eye at the centre of your eyebrows. Use it. By using it, you become truly human. By using the Crown Centre, you attain the Divine state. When you make full use of these inner faculties that transform a human into a true human and a human into a divine being, you will flourish, and everyone around you will flourish as well. Therefore, if profound transformation is to take place in this world, it can be brought about only by those who have awakened to Mei Unarvu (True Self-Realisation).Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! If a Few Can Govern Millions, Why Can't One Noble Thought Change the World? | சிலரால் கோடிக்கணக்கான மக்களை வழிநடத்த முடிந்தால், ஒரு நல்ல எண்ணத்தால் உலகமே மாறாதா?
In the 24th Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan Asks: If a Few Can Govern Millions, Why Can't One Noble Thought Transform the World?India has 120 crore people, yet only a few hundred govern the nation. The thoughts of that small group influence the lives of millions. If that is possible, why can't noble thoughts transform the world? Our tradition declares, "If even one righteous person lives, blessings will reach everyone." One truly good person is enough.Who is that good person? You are. Yet you keep saying, "I cannot." Sanatana Dharma teaches only one thing: Believe. Believe in yourself.Whoever loves everyone is God. If you love all, you are God. God is the Life that transcends all limitations and dwells within you. You are that Life. That Life holds limitless life-force, and with that power you can accomplish anything.Whatever you declare as "I," you become. If you say, "I am a leader," you become a leader. If you say, "I am a businessperson," you become one. If you say, "I am a scholar," you become a scholar. If you think, "I am poor," you become poor. If you think, "I am sick," you become sick. The thought "I" creates every one of these identities. That thought is life. That thought is your world. Today, the world is filled with thoughts, but those thoughts have become disordered. You cannot change anyone else, but you can change yourself. That is the purpose of satsang. Reform yourself first, because individual transformation creates world transformation. From this day onward, make a firm resolve. Can Gratitude Transform Your Life? | நன்றியுணர்வு உங்கள் வாழ்க்கையை மாற்ற முடியுமா?
In the 23rd Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan reveals that gratitude dissolves the burdens of the mind, awakens the Divine within, and fills your life with lasting peace and happiness. What do you worship? Who worships? Who is God? Your worship ends the moment you realise that the Divine you seek lives within you. God becomes a human being, and through higher wisdom, the human being becomes God once again. The One becomes Divine Light. Divine Light becomes atoms. Atoms evolve into human beings with six senses. The same Divine power lives within you. Therefore, you can create a life filled with peace, love, joy, and happiness.Your mind creates your life. When your mind runs towards the outer world, it keeps chasing experiences. When you turn your mind inward, it enters silence. In that silence, you experience true peace and happiness, and your thoughts gain the power to become reality.Do not compare yourself with anyone. The moment you think, "I must be better than someone else," your mind becomes tense, and your thoughts lose their strength. Remove that tension. Bless everyone.Thank your mother, father, siblings, teachers, Guru, spouse, children, friends, relatives, neighbours, humanity, Mother Earth, the five elements, the Sun, the Moon, the stars, and finally God. Even if someone has hurt you, remember one act of kindness and simply say, "Thank you." Have You Forgotten the Divine Power Within You? | உங்களுக்குள் இருக்கும் தெய்வீக சக்தியை நீங்கள் மறந்துவிட்டீர்களா?
In the 23rd Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan unveils the hidden Kamadhenu and Kalpavriksha within you.The purpose of a Guru is to awaken you to the Divine power that already exists within you. I realised my own power. Why have you forgotten yours? My role is to remove that forgetfulness and help you rediscover your true nature. Many of you have shared that during meditation you entered a state where time disappeared. You were neither asleep nor awake. Your body lost all sensation, your mind became still, your intellect ceased to think, yet one awareness remained: "I exist." You experienced this state because you transcended the body, the mind, and the intellect, and rested in the witnessing consciousness. Words cannot describe this experience, just as no description can fully convey the sweetness of sugar. Beyond the physical body lie the subtle body, the intellect, and the causal body. Beyond all of these shines the Supreme Consciousness. Your ordinary knowledge is limited. The Guru elevates you from this limited awareness to Infinite Wisdom. The knowledge you gain through the five senses belongs to the physical world. The sixth sense gives you the ability to discriminate between right and wrong. Beyond that lies the seventh sense, the awakening of subtle consciousness, which enables you to perceive the subtle essence of all things. One who understands their own mind can understand the minds of others. One who realises their own subtle nature can perceive the subtle nature in everyone. Beyond the seventh lies the eighth level of awareness, the causal consciousness. Human beings generally function with the sixth sense, yogis awaken the seventh, and realised sages abide in the eighth. Yet beyond all these shines the Supreme Consciousness that governs them all. You have forgotten how immense your true power is because your attention remains fixed on everyday life instead of turning inward. The entire Universe exists within you. Why worry? Why grieve? Death belongs only to the body; it never touches your true Self. Once you realise this truth, all fear of death disappears. When you awaken to this higher consciousness, every thought you generate radiates into the Universe like electromagnetic waves, attracting energies that resonate with your inner state. Whatever you seek from that state of Supreme Awareness can manifest. The wish-fulfilling 'Kamadhenu' is within you. The 'Kalpavriksha' that grants your highest aspirations also stands within you.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Let us protect Mother earth!Let us protect the Universe! Can your mind heal your body ? | உங்கள் மனம் உங்கள் உடலை குணப்படுத்த முடியுமா?
In the 23rd Velvi discourse, Gurumahan reveals that every disease affecting the body (Vyadhi) first arises in the mind (Adhi).Whatever exists as All exists within every individual. You may call it the Atman. The same Supreme Brahman that pervades the entire Universe shines within each person as the power of the Atman. That is why every human being embodies four dimensions of existence. The Universe unfolds through the process of evolution from the One Reality. That One has manifested as the five elements, the worlds, and all of creation. The same reality has also become the human being, where it shines as the Atman. The first dimension of the Atman is the physical body. The second is the dream state, the dimension of the mind. The third is the state of deep sleep. The Atman embraces all three dimensions, yet it also transcends them. It remains ever-present beyond waking, dreaming, and deep sleep. That Atman is your true Self. It is God. The God you seek is the Atman, and that Atman is you. You are That.To realise this truth, cultivate gratitude. Allow your mind to blossom into unconditional love. At present, human love remains limited. Let it evolve until it becomes boundless. The Vedas explain that disease has two causes: *Adhi* and *Vyadhi*. *Adhi* arises in the mind, while *Vyadhi* manifests in the physical body. Every physical illness begins with *Adhi*. Even the slightest mental vibration becomes impressed upon the subconscious and eventually expresses itself outwardly.Whatever you repeatedly think in your mind ultimately manifests in your physical life. A noble thought generates uplifting vibrations. These vibrations create positive chemical changes in the brain, activating every cell. The cells nourish the tissues, the tissues support the organs, the organs sustain the body's systems, and together these systems maintain the entire body.Likewise, a single negative thought produces harmful vibrations in the brain. These vibrations influence the endocrine glands and the nervous system, gradually creating conditions that are unhealthy for the body. This is why the root cause of many modern illnesses lies in the mind. When the mind is healthy, everything else begins to function harmoniously.Even the most accomplished doctors sometimes recognise the limits of medical science. When they realise they can do no more, they often tell the family, "We have done everything we can. Now let us pray." Time and again, sincere prayer has brought remarkable recoveries. Medical scientists themselves acknowledge that such transformations cannot always be explained by their current understanding. They recognise that some higher power has intervened to save the person. That Divine Power is present everywhere, and it lives within every one of us.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Why does Gurumahan say, "Thought is God"? | "எண்ணம்தான் கடவுள்" என்று குருமகான் ஏன் கூறுகிறார்?
In the 23rd Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan reveals the profound truth that "Thought is God" and that our thoughts create the reality we experience. My beloved ones, if you want your aspirations to become reality, fill your mind with noble thoughts. Good thoughts give rise to uplifting emotions that cool your heart and mind. These joyful feelings strengthen your heart, sharpen your mind, inspire enthusiasm, and guide you to act with wisdom. That is why I say, "Thought is God. Thought is life. Thought is man." Thought has evolved into this Universe. Thought has shaped who you are today. Without thought, you could never have taken this human birth. The same Divine power that moves the Universe and pervades the cosmos also dwells within you. Therefore, never think of yourself as ordinary. The Vedas proclaim this eternal truth as "Prajnanam Brahma" Pure Consciousness is Brahman. This Univers arose from the Supreme Consciousness and Its Divine Thought. That very same Divine Thought lives within you.Stand established in that Supreme Consciousness, and whatever you seek will come to you. Transcend your limited intellect and awaken to the Infinite Wisdom. Through tapas, pierce the veil of ignorance, awaken your inner eye, enter the divine centre between your eyebrows, abide in the inner hall of consciousness, realise all that must be known, and burn away everything that binds you. Why is experiencing God more important than merely knowing about God? | இறைவனைப் பற்றி அறிதலைவிட, இறைவனை அனுபவிப்பது ஏன் முக்கியம்?
In the 23rd Velvi discourse, Gurumahan reveals how the Universe, consciousness, and the individual are inseparably one, and why true wisdom blossoms only through direct inner experience guided by the Guru.According to quantum physics, the Universe emerged from an immense primordial energy. But how did that supreme energy arise? It arose through its own intention. This is the very truth proclaimed by all religions: God created the Universe through Divine Will, through Sankalpa. The One alone became everything. It first existed as pure consciousness, then transformed into Divine Light. From that Light emerged the fiery sparks that became the countless atoms forming the entire Universe. These atoms constitute what we call the cosmos. The Tamil word *விண்* (space) itself signifies vibration and pulsation. The Universe continuously vibrates, sustained by the Divine thought that pervades everything as luminous energy. From this Light arise the cosmic vibrations known as the eternal sound of Om. This is why Saivism describes the Lord as performing the Cosmic Dance without ceasing. The moment this Divine pulsation stops, the Universe dissolves back into its primordial state. Just as the cosmos functions through this eternal rhythm, the human body mirrors the same Divine order. The same cosmic movement operates within us. When this movement ceases, the body loses its life and becomes lifeless. Therefore, the very power that fills the entire Universe also resides within us. Whatever we sincerely seek from that Divine Power is granted, provided we possess unwavering faith. We must believe that we share an intimate connection with the Universe, for we ourselves are expressions of that infinite Reality. Just as a loving father gives to his child, the Supreme Power that has become everything responds to those who approach it with trust. There is no need to search for this Divine Power elsewhere. It dwells within every human being. If the One has evolved into everything, then It exists in space, earth, water, fire, air, in the tallest pillar, and even in the smallest blade of grass. It equally fills every living being. The Universe originated from a single atom, driven by its profound yearning. That yearning blossomed into Divine Light, unfolding through countless transformations. But why did the Primordial Source conceive this creation? It did so to know everything, experience everything, and ultimately return to its own original state. Human life beautifully reflects this cosmic process. Every day, during deep sleep, we withdraw beyond bodily awareness and mental activity into profound peace and bliss. Upon waking, we enter the world to learn, experience, and fulfil the purpose of the day. Having completed these experiences, we once again return to stillness. Feeling that there is still more to know and experience, we awaken each day, perform our duties, and finally rest again. What is it that we are truly meant to know and experience? It is That One Reality. Knowing That One is equivalent to knowing everything, and experiencing That One is the fulfilment of all experience. It is for this realization that the Vedas, the Shrutis, the scriptures, the Vedantic teachings, religions, and even the sciences came into existence. Learning these sacred teachings alone is not enough. This is merely the fragrance of knowledge. Just as smelling a fruit cannot satisfy us until we taste it, studying scriptures without experiencing their truth remains incomplete. The purpose of learning is fulfilled only through direct realization. To know knowledge itself, one requires the light of wisdom. To experience that light, one must practise *Karu Thavam* (inner contemplative penance). Without this inner discipline, neither what we have learned nor what we have received can become living experience. Teachers impart the fragrance of knowledge through education. Gurus, however, guide seekers to taste and directly experience that knowledge. Scriptures and philosophies point toward God through intellectual understanding, but only the Guru leads us inward to realize the Supreme Power that already exists within. This is why this sacred place overflows with love, wisdom, power, bliss, grace, and peace. Here, the God whom people have long searched for outside, the Divine Light they visualized with closed eyes, is awakened as a living experience within themselves. Many temples remain silent. Many preachers merely speak about the Divine. But this is a temple that speaks, awakens, and establishes every individual in the realization of their own true Self.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Why Is Gratitude the Path to Divine Grace?| நன்றி உணர்வே இறையருளின் திறவுகோலா?
In the 23rd Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan reveals how gratitude transforms the heart, dissolves resentment, and awakens the One Divine Presence within all.Has God ever given you anything? Of course He has. He gave you a healthy body. He gave you a loving mother. He gave you a caring father. He gave you brothers and sisters. He gave you a good wife or a good husband. He gave you wonderful children. He gave you an education. Yet you still say, "God has given me nothing."Have you ever thanked your mother? Tell me, whom do you thank? Can you thank the mother who carried you in her womb for ten months, endured pain to give you birth, and nourished you with her own blood transformed into milk?Do you have the heart to thank her today? Often, when we think of our mother, we first remember her shortcomings. But what is needed is gratitude. Whatever mistakes she may have made, she is the one who gave you this body. Simply say, "Mother, thank you." The moment you sincerely say those words, the hatred and resentment you carried towards her begin to disappear. Have you ever thanked your father? He may have been imperfect, but your very life came through him. He is the source of this life. Therefore, thank him. Have you ever thanked your teacher? This is an age when people criticize teachers instead of honouring them. Yet, in some way, every teacher has taught you something. At the very least, they taught you that two plus two is four, not five. Therefore, offer your gratitude to your teachers and Gurus. Mother, Father, Guru. But how do you thank God? Have you ever seen Him? The scriptures declare that the senses cannot perceive Him. Then how can you thank the One you cannot see? Imagine a child getting off a school bus when a speeding car rushes toward him. A stranger risks his own life, saves the child, and quietly walks away. The mother brings the child home in shock and says, "Someone saved our son today. I don't even know who he was." Wouldn't the father say, "We must somehow thank the person who saved our child"? Even without knowing who that person is, you thank him and pray that he and his family may be blessed. You have never seen him before, yet your heart overflows with gratitude. Likewise, why should you wait to see the Divine before expressing your gratitude? Simply remember that wondrous Power which creates, protects, transforms, and showers grace upon all. That remembrance alone is enough. How should you remember the Divine? Remember with a heart melted in love. Remember with devotion. Think of the Almighty with deep sincerity, and whatever you seek, He will grant. That is why it is said, "Ask, and it shall be given." Where does this Supreme Power exist? It exists beyond the physical body, the subtle body, and the intellectual body. Beyond them It shines as Divine Light. Beyond that It exists as Primordial Sound. Beyond even that It abides as the Eternal Origin, sustaining all creation. Everything that exists is That One alone. Just as a single seed sprouts and grows into a mighty tree, the One Primordial Reality has unfolded into the entire Universe. Because It has evolved into everything, It fills everything. There is no place where It is absent. It pervades all without exception. There is only One Reality.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! What prevents us from receiving Divine grace? | இறை அருள் பெற தடையாக இருப்பது எது?
In the 23rd Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan Reveals the Divine Law: Ask with Love, Receive Without Limit.Once the food you eat passes below your throat, it is no longer your responsibility. A mysterious power digests it, extracts every nutrient, transforms the solid into flesh, the liquid into bodily fluids, and expels the remaining waste as solid waste, urine, and sweat. When a single sperm enters the ovum, an invisible living cell begins an extraordinary journey. That same unseen power forms the eyes, ears, nose, and the entire human body, then sustains and animates it.The five elements of nature continue to function in perfect harmony without losing their order. The Earth, Moon, Sun, planets, and stars revolve effortlessly through space. What power moves them all? What created everything? What sustains every living being? What dissolves and transforms all existence? That is the Supreme Cosmic Power of the Universe. Through that Power, anything becomes possible. Therefore, believe in yourself. When you truly believe in the Divine within, everything becomes attainable. Do you want your present circumstances to change? Do you want your abilities to improve? Do you want suffering to end? Do you seek freedom from illness, peace of mind, clarity of intellect, prosperity instead of poverty, and wisdom instead of ignorance?Do you wish to transcend the endless cycle of birth and death? Do you long for the deathless state? Whatever you sincerely seek, you can attain. You will receive what you ask for. A loving mother gladly gives her child what it needs. A caring father fulfills the sincere wishes of his child. A compassionate Guru removes every doubt, imparts every art, and shares every wisdom with a devoted disciple. If a mother, father, and Guru respond with such love, will the Divine not respond? Yet why do many feel that their prayers remain unanswered? Will a child who lacks love and respect receive everything from its mother? Will a father fulfill the wishes of a child who ignores his guidance? Will a Guru impart wisdom to a disciple without devotion? Likewise, if you approach the Divine without love, how can you expect to receive? We create the obstacle ourselves, yet we blame God. Is not God the embodiment of boundless love, infinite grace, and incomparable compassion? The Divine's love surpasses even the love of a mother, a father, and a Guru. Therefore, ask, and you shall receive. There is a right way to ask. When you ask with love, sincerity, and faith, the Divine grants everything. The Divine never says "No."The Divine stands with hands raised in blessing, declaring, "So be it." Whatever you ask, the Divine responds, "So be it." If you say, "Lord, I am sick," your words shape your experience. If you say, "When will I ever clear this debt?" you reinforce that reality. If you doubt your success, your doubt becomes your experience. The Universe responds to what you affirm. In stories, whenever great sages performed intense penance and sought a boon, the Divine granted what they asked. The purpose of the Universe is to respond to your deepest conviction. Just as a mother wishes only for her child's happiness, a father strives to bring joy to his children, and a Guru rejoices when a disciple expresses the wisdom he has received, the Divine desires only one thing from you, your happiness. When illness disappears, you rejoice. When debts are cleared, you rejoice. When you succeed in your examinations, you rejoice. When you find a home, you rejoice. When you own a vehicle, you rejoice. When you find a loving life partner, you rejoice. When you are blessed with healthy, wise, loving, and long-lived children, you rejoice. Happiness is the very purpose of life, and the Divine wants you to live in that happiness.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! What Is the Transformation the World Truly Needs? | உலகத்திற்கு உண்மையில் தேவைப்படும் மாற்றம் என்ன?
In the 23nd Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan Talks About Dissolving Fear Through the Realization of Oneness.Family worship, clan worship, community worship, religious worship, and national worship, this Divine Worship transcends them all. It is a Universal worship dedicated to the well-being of the entire world, so that everyone may receive everything they need and live in joy. At its very beginning, this worship was founded with a single intention: to bring about transformation. The fears that the world would come to an end gave way to a deeper understanding. Whatever appears will disappear, but the world itself has not truly come into existence as something separate. The One that exists as everything also exists as this world; therefore, there is no possibility of its destruction. Let fear dissolve. Had the world truly been destined for destruction, we would not be gathered here today to celebrate Velvi fulfillment. Those who came then, along with many more seekers, are here today. This is not a time when the world is ending; it is a time when all that is false fades away and all that is good emerges. That is why transformation is essential.Who needs this transformation? The world needs transformation. Bharat needs transformation. Tamil Nadu needs transformation. Every individual needs transformation. But this transformation is not about changing one's clothing or changing the physical body. It is about transforming the mind and refining one's character from within. This is a time in humanity's evolutionary journey when human intelligence must rise from limited knowledge to Supreme Wisdom. Throughout the ages, the mission of the enlightened sages has been to elevate human beings from limited understanding into the state of Higher Consciousness.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Gurmahan's Guided Meditation: Journey to True Self through Forehead Eye| குருமகான் வழிகாட்டுதலில் தியானம் - ஆக்கினையின் மூலம் தன்னிலையை உணரும் பயணம்!
In the 22nd Velvi Discourse, Gurumahan Reveals the Guided Meditation That Leads from the Ajna Chakra to Supreme Consciousness.Sit comfortably for a moment and gently close your eyes. Rest your awareness at the Ajna Chakra and take a deep breath. Allow your left leg to relax, then your right leg. Let your hips, back, left arm, right arm, reproductive organs, abdomen, chest, neck, and head all relax. From the soles of your feet to the crown of your head, let your entire body come to complete rest. As the body relaxes, go beyond the gross physical body and allow the mind to turn inward. Let the mind remain at the brow center between the eyebrows, observing the breath. With each breath, let the mind settle into the brow center. Beyond the body, with the breath stilled and the mind absorbed at the brow center, only pure awareness remains, awake in conscious presence. Outwardly you are asleep, yet inwardly you are awake, you sleep without sleeping. The body rests, but you remain within as pure awareness, as the very feeling of "I," and as the consciousness that knows that feeling. This awareness transcends the gross body, the subtle body, and even the body of knowledge, entering into the Divine Light. That very Light is your true awareness. The same Light from which the Universe arose shines within your brow center. The very Power that moves the Sun also dwells within your brow center as the Light of Wisdom. Go beyond that Light, become one with it, and then transcend even the Light. There you abide as the primordial Sound, as Time itself, and as pure Awareness. Unite with that Primordial True Awareness. The Primordial One is "I"; "I" becomes thought, and thought itself becomes awareness. There, nothing remains to be known, for you have become one with the Supreme Intelligence. Everything you seek already exists there. Nothing more remains to be attained. There, you become That. You become the Atma and unite with the Paramatma.O radiant Atma! Within this physical body itself, the state of the Paramatma is present. It shines beyond the crown in the state of Turiyatita. It exists at the center of the cosmos, and it exists at the center of your own crown. Become one with that crown center. Become one with the experience of the Paramatma. There, you simply are That. You abide in bliss, peace, and love. O Atma, this is your natural state. It is from this very state that you assumed this body. Behold yourself within your body. At your crown, you abide as the very form of the Atma, and as that very Atma, the Guru shines. "Gu" signifies complete darkness, while "Ru" signifies the Light that shines within that darkness, the Primordial Light hidden within the darkness. Whatever you think from that state becomes reality.Think, "May this Universe flourish." Bless this Earth. Bless Mother Earth to live long and endure. Let your thoughts reach the Universe. May these thought waves become waves of Light, transforming all incoming energies into pure radiance. May that radiant sphere become another Moon near the Earth, bringing coolness without causing any disturbance. May the Earth be protected. May the thoughts arising from this exalted state manifest into reality. So let it be. Having blessed the whole world, now bless Bharat. Bharat is a Divine Nation that reveals spirituality to the world and bestows peace upon humanity. Bless Bharat. Bless South India. Just as you have blessed Bharat, bless the nation in which each of you was born—Malaysia, Singapore, Germany, Dubai, America, Iceland, Russia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand—and bless all the continents. Bless your own state. Bless South India. May all the southern lands unite. Bless your state, your district, your city, your municipality, your town, your village, your street, and your family. Finally, bless yourself. See yourself from the Universe, and see the Universe within yourself. You are the family, the village, the town, the municipality, the city, the district, the state, South India, Bharat, the world, and the entire Universe. You are Divine.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail! Let us protect Mother earth!Let us protect the Universe! Santhosamhttps://universalpeacefoundation.org
