1st Hearing Set in Federal Court, Goncalves et al v WSU

Here we provide pure opinions, comments, and speculation concerning a motion filed by the WA attorney general's office seeking to transfer venue of the federal Goncalves et al v. WSU lawsuit from the Western to the Eastern District of Washington closer to the WSU Pullman campus and to Moscow Idaho. A hearing, the first in the lawsuit, has been set on this motion to transfer venue on February 27, 2026. What is expected to happen next?
