(台)彼個地飢荒真嚴重。亞伯蘭落去埃及，寄居佇遐。啲欲到埃及的時，亞伯蘭對伊的某莎萊講：「我知你是生做真媠的婦仁人；埃及人若看著你，會講：『此個是伊的某。』in會給我刣死，互你活啲。拜託你講你是我的小妹，互我通因為按呢平安無事，免互人刣死。」 (華)那地遭遇饑荒。因饑荒甚大，亞伯蘭就下埃及去，要在那裡暫居。將近埃及，就對他妻子撒萊說：「我知道你是容貌俊美的婦人。埃及人看見你必說：『這是他的妻子』，他們就要殺我，卻叫你存活。求你說，你是我的妹子，使我因你得平安，我的命也因你存活。」
