The UF Proton Therapy Institute celebrates 20 years of service in Jacksonville, and today's Good News features Steven Fitzgerald. His cancer journey began in 2014 with a decline in his vision -- but it wasn't his eye! Research discovered cranial cancer and led to treatment at the UF Proton Therapy Institute in Jacksonville. In 2019, he concluded his treatment, and has not experienced any tumor regrowth since. He credits the UFPTI with enabling him to have and enjoy his future.
