#2/23 Sam Hollis| Yorkshireman in Mozambique; Remote working & Web Design

This episode comes to you from Mozambique. Susan was surprised to discover that the conversations she had been having with Sam Hollis during networking meetings were actually taking place remotely from Mozambique. The story behind Sam's move to relocate, with his wife and two children, as organised a decision and process as that could be, took an unexpected turn when they were warned that South Africa was about to close down its airports due to lockdown. No spoiler alert here...they did make it but not quite in the timescale they anticipated. About the Guest:Sam is a web designer and usually living in Yorkshire. He and his family have moved temporarily to Mozambique where he is still running his business remotely. He did actually confide that internet provision is better in Maputo than it was in his home in Yorkshire and due to the current lockdown situation no one is surprised that he is not working out of an office. Sam provides a pay as you go website design service which helps those in business who cannot afford the upfront cost of having a website designed for them.Sam has travelled extensively in the past on kayaking expeditions and also talks about some of the trips he has taken following this hobby.
