2. Imprints In Your Nervous System
from Unseen Connections Hosted by Amy Skinner
Episode 2. Take a shot of water every time I say "nervous system" and I promise you'll leave this hour super hydrated! hahaha but for real, the nervous system fascinates me. I have found there's such an integration piece that makes all the difference of learning about the scientific function AND noticing how it effects you in your body. In this episode I share with you some of the examples in the form of experiences that highlighted the effects of mine and how you can identify the effects of yours (and one major way you can help keep yours in flow.) We get into the introduction of energy centers in the body, also known as Chakras, and focus specifically on the Root Chakra and how it plays a part in your mental, emotional, physical and energetic well being. I talk a little bit about Reiki, the energy healing practice I am trained in, I mention a few synchronistic moments, guide you through an opportunity to light up your mind body connection and provide the reaffirming notion that NO ONE HAS THEIR SHIT TOGETHER, SO PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, GIVE YOURSELF SOME GRACE! All the while creating a safe space to be even more of the human you already are. I hope you enjoy this weeks episode and always remember - take what fits and leave the rest!
