2 Peter 1:12-21 - Trusting the Prophetic Word

The authenticity of the word of God is still being questioned by many. Despite the scriptural evidence that documents that all scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, there are still those who question its source and the deity of Jesus Christ. Peter, who is now approaching his death, addresses these issues with the scattered church. He is determined to fulfill Jesus’ commandment to strengthen his brothers by reminding them of the doctrine of the prophets and apostles before his exodus.
