2 Peter 3:10-18 - The Day of the Lord will Come

Previously, it was discussed that false teachers and scoffers would come and convince many that Jesus Christ would not return and join them in living in their lusts. Peter encourages believers to remember the commandments of the Old Testament prophets and the apostles of the Lord Jesus, “The Lord will come” and bring destruction. The heavens and the earth will pass away, and a new heaven and a new earth will come. As believers, we should be looking forward to that day, living in holy conduct and godliness.
