King David led quite a life. He had incredible highs, and some mind-numbing lows as well. Today we see him once again threatened by someone who wanted to take over - this time a rebel named Sheba. This guy was pretty charismatic - he told the men of Israel that they should abandon David, and so they did. David also had a man named Joab to contend with.
