2. the glory of our rejected and exalted Lord and Saviour Genesis 37-50

Before Jesus entered our world, the Holy Spirit gave us glimpses of His glory throughout the Old Testament. In this 6 part series we are looking at the glory of Jesus before entering our world. As we listen to the text of the Bible, our minds are hearts will open to the love and truth of God and our souls will be deeply satisfied.1. Joseph was rejected by his brothers     - He came to His own people but His own people did not receive Him2. Joseph was betrayed into the hands of foreigners     - Jesus was betrayed for pieces of silver into the hands of the Romans 3. Joseph was tested yet without sin     - Jesus was tempted in every way yet without sin4. Joseph though innocent, was condemned and imprisoned      - Jesus was innocent, was condemned and sentenced to death5. Joseph was exalted to the right hand of the majesty as lord over all      - God has exalted this Jesus, whom you crucified, to be Lord and Christ over all6. Joseph gathers his family to himself and saves them from death      - Jesus gathers His family to Himself and saves them from death7.  God brought evil out of good      - through the death of Jesus Christ, God brought the greatest good out of the greatest evil"Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.” (Acts 2:36)"Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."" (Acts 2:37-38)
