Together we remember the persecuted and underground church, and we pray for strength, courage, and faithfulness.  2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NIV) “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” Across the world today, there are believers gathering in homes, small rooms, hidden places, and quiet corners. Some will worship openly. Others will lower their voices. Some will carry a Bible freely. Others will carry God’s Word carefully and discreetly. Yet they all belong to the same family. As we begin this part of the day, it is good to pause and remember them. Many of us understand what it feels like to face pressure, uncertainty, or opposition. Yet for some believers, following Jesus comes with risks that most of us will never fully understand. Even so, they continue to pray. They continue to worship. They continue to trust the Lord. Why? Because the Lord is faithful. Not faithful only when life is easy. Not faithful only when prayers are quickly answered. Faithful always. The same Jesus who strengthens believers meeting quietly in difficult places is the same Jesus who walks beside us today. Father, we lift before You our brothers and sisters around the world who are suffering because they follow Christ. Strengthen those who are weary. Protect those who feel vulnerable. Encourage those who feel alone. Remind them that they are seen, loved, and never forgotten. Lord Jesus, help us to remain faithful wherever You have placed us. Give us courage when faith is tested, wisdom when decisions are difficult, and peace when circumstances feel uncertain. Holy Spirit, unite Your Church across every nation and language. Fill Your people with endurance, hope, and quiet confidence today.
