Three Prayer Themes: Faith • Stability • Hope Scripture — 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV) The evening is drawing near, and perhaps the pressure of the day has left its mark. Something may have gone wrong. A conversation may not have gone as planned. You may still be wondering how a difficult situation will work out. So pause with Jesus. Paul reminds Timothy that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. In Jesus, we do not have to let pressure decide how we respond. Lord Jesus, steady us tonight. Where fear has made us reactive, give us calm. Where disappointment has weakened our confidence, restore our hope. Give us power to do what is right, love to respond with grace and a sound mind when circumstances feel confusing. Help us stand firm without becoming hard, and trust You without pretending that everything is easy. We pray for Uganda, Canada and Brazil. Strengthen those facing setbacks, uncertainty and difficult circumstances. We remember Hungary, Romania and Russia. Bring comfort to families and communities, and renew hope where the day has been difficult. Holy Spirit, keep our hearts centred on Jesus. Señor Jesús, danos fuerza y esperanza. Senhor Jesus, dá-nos força e esperança. Panginoong Jesus, bigyan Mo kami ng lakas at pag-asa. This day began with Jesus as our refuge, continued with His wisdom, and at midday we came to Him for living water. Now, as evening settles, we can stand because our strength is not built on perfect circumstances. Lord, we place today’s disappointments into Your hands. Teach us to trust You with what we cannot repair tonight. Jesus remains with us, and because He does, hope still has room to grow. Amen. Blessing: May Jesus steady your heart this evening, strengthen your faith and renew your hope for tomorrow.
