$20/hour fast-food disaster!

I worked my way through college as a waiter. My income consisted mainly of tips. If I gave good service, I got good tips. California has just increased fast food workers pay to $20 an hour because Governor Newsom felt that a career in fast food service should pay better. The problem is, the people who give you a hamburger were meant to think of this job as an entry level job. Entry level job, not as a career just making sure that it’s a hamburger and not a hot dog. And that’s $20 an hour raise it’s now forced the industry to fire half of their fast food workers. And the ones that are left are serving fewer customers because people can’t afford the increase in prices. Why are liberals allowed to run things?
