#20: Improving Home Health Care Quality while Saving Healthcare Dollars

Today's episode features Oneika Griffin Webb, MS, BSN, RN   Oneika Griffin Webb is the Founder and Chief Quality Officer of QAPI Consulting, LLC™.  Her mission is to utilize her knowledge and expertise to help Medicare Certified Home Health Agencies prioritize Quality by developing structured processes that will improve performance gaps; sustain quality and performance improvement related to patient care, safety, and health outcomes; and learn how to navigate the uncertainty of Home Health Value Based Purchasing (HHVBP) and mitigate the risk of a negative payment adjustment. She has worked with Home Health agencies on the local and national level, which has provided her with a deep insight into the day-to-day challenges and complexities of the industry.    Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Oneika worked in the Home Health industry for over 30 years. She started out as a field RN Case Manager providing quality care to the patients that she served. She entered the quality space over 20 years ago and quickly realized that she enjoyed using her clinical skills in a different capacity. She has a background in Home Health leadership, education, and quality improvement.
