#20 What’s so Funky about Vitamins?

from Medicine Unravelled Hosted by Rads

Today we’ll be unravelling the genius of Casimir Funk, the Father of the Vitamin. We’re all great at looking at the past and many of us enjoy History: learning about the events that have changed our lives today. But how often do we consider how healthy foods and nutrients came about? I’ll be the first to say that although I advocate for people to take vitamins and minerals, I wasn’t aware of who had discovered them. So today is a school day for us all. I hope today’s episode sparks a little curiously in you and at least and understanding of the importance of knowing what we put into our bodies. Visit www.drfunk.co.uk.
