202/365: Laura McIntyre, Co. Meath

When Laura first filled out the form to be in this project back in November 2025, she wanted to talk about her new home. It’s a home she had been planning for years, on her parent’s land. She built it with so much love and care, and designed it so perfectly. Her parents live next door, and her Dad would send her photos daily of the progress the builders would make while she was at work. When I got around to messaging Laura, I was excited to hear about the house. Life, as we know, can be very cruel. Laura replied to say her Dad, James McIntyre, had just passed away, but that she would still like to take part, to show me the house that her Dad was so proud of, and to honour his memory.RxSin Scéal Eile - That's Another Story was hosted and created by Ruth Medjber, with sound by Ronan Lally.
