#202: Running My Marathon Double In Midwest (Races Recap From Nebraska & Iowa)

from Run The Race

What's it like running marathons on back-to-back days? I'm going to tell you. For the second time in the last 6 months, I did just that, running a 26.2 mile race in different states, one day apart. This time, it was in Nebraska and Iowa - putting me at 28 states so far in the journey of running a marathon in all 50 states. in this shorter pod episode, I recap those fun races through the Mainly Marathons Prairie series. Give it a listen to hear more about my training miles leading up to the Midwest...the loops and quirks of these races...praising God while passing a fellow runner...people from all over the world that I ran with...amazing achievements and numbers by fellow competitors...recovery between races like a homemade ice bath...sleep and shoes...historic sightseeing in Omaha NE and Sioux City IA...and more. Closed out in prayer. Thanks for listening to the #RunTheRace podcast, which I hope you'll subscribe to! Share it with your friends. Also, write a quick review about it, on Apple podcasts.
