This is the edited and annotated version.  Acelakassapa Sutta SN 12.17 traced how ascetic Kassapa who was practising extreme mortification where nakedness was part of the practice, was awakened by the Buddha. Sis Sylvia Bay deciphered the cryptic nature of the conversation between Buddha and Kassapa, where Buddha replied, "It is not that I do not know and see suffering, Kassapa. I know suffering, I see suffering." where Buddha used conditionality to trigger Kassapa's awakening. In the same manner, Sis Sylvia highlighted why we are shackled by dukkha and yet, there is non-self.
