My higher self communicates with me through inspiration, which is like a river connecting me to the source of consciousness. However, I have drifted away and become distant from this source. Consciousness knows this and is trying to help us evolve back into it. One way it does this is by using inspiration as a tool to enlighten and guide us. Inspiration uses our intuition to communicate its message of returning to the source of enlightenment. Intuition is just one mechanism that can be activated by inspiration for communication purposes.
