2024: 100 pct for børnene - Youth on board

The Youth on Board project in Ghana funded by CISU seeks to drive significant change in education led by the youth, in a post covid world that has resulted in a rise in drop out rates due to teenage pregnancies, period poverty, early marriages etc. How does the youth in Ghana influence policy? What data do they rely on? What results are achieved? This workshop led by John and Rahina, youth activists from Ghana, will highlight how the project has empowered youth to influence educational policies and practices in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has severely damaged the education scene, especially for girls. A short game will be played, to illustrate the scene.
