ㄧ、內容：一日，雅各吩咐約瑟要送東西去給在示劍牧羊的十個哥哥們。約瑟去了，卻找不著，因為他們轉往多坍去，在境人轉告後，他也去找他哥哥們，卻迷了路，好不容易找到，哥哥們卻商議要害他，但是大哥流便要救他，便告訴大家，不可害他的性命。後來，他們脫了他的彩衣，把他丟在坑裡。二、默想：我若是約瑟，我會如何？三、禱告：主啊！求祢常常保守我。四、金句：來吧！我們將他殺了，丟在一個坑裏，就說有惡獸把他吃了。我們且看他的夢將來怎麼樣。」（創卅七：20）
