203. NIGHTLIGHT (Love, Lukemia And New Life - with Mary Wilding)

After a break of 7 months, here we go with the launch of the new NIGHTLIGHT series. I hope to be able to post a show every weekend, and there are already a wide variety of shows in the works. On this first show you are going to be meeting Mary Wilding, speaking to us from Washington State in the USA. Mary shares with us her battles and victories in facing the trauma of her daughter, Phoebe’s fight with leukemia in 2012/13, which she documented in a book called Love, Leukemia, and New Life. A couple of the special songs on this show are ones that Phoebe posted on her social media as she came to terms with her own mortality as she succumbed to cancer at a young age.
