205: Creating a Supportive Community

from MUVE Forward · host Michelle Wolfe

When I lost my mom, I had a community that came together to help me out. People who would drop off food, help drive us to sporting events, and so much more. Til’ this very day, I still remember all of that support, very vividly. I felt safe and I felt supported by the community I lived in. This is what helped me through the hardest time of my life to date. Knowing that I wasn't alone, knowing that I had people on my team fighting for me and cheering me on, kept me going. On today’s episode, I’m chatting about the things you can do to grow your community during difficult times. 2021 has been seeming to divide us further, so it’s important to ask yourself what you’re doing to make sure that you’re keeping your community strong. How are you staying connected? Are you reaching out to the ones that you love? Are you having conversations with the people you care about? Now is the time to stick together and stay strong so that we can all move forward together! On this episode we dive into: What community is, and what having a community means. The positive impacts of having a supportive community. How my own community helped me through the loss of my mother. What you can do to create a community of your own.The take-home: So warriors, build your community and keep it strong. We were meant to live in community with one another! With that said … I am excited to announce that this coming February, I will be launching a new community-based platform to keep all of us connected!! I believe it’s beyond important that we stick together through all of this and continue to learn and grow from one another. We all deserve a community that serves our purpose because that’s how we continue to move forward! Stay tuned warriors, I can’t wait to share this with you!Get in touch with Michelle: MUVE FORWARD Wellness Program for Female Hustlers: https://www.muvelife.com/the-muvementMUVE FORWARD Website: https://www.muvelife.comINSTAGRAM: @muvelife EMAIL: [email protected]
