In this episode, I chat with Brendan Malone who is a co-founder and joint CEO of Raiz Invest. It's a huge investment platform in Australia that looks after a billion dollars of investments for its member base of over 1.2 million Australians. We talk about Brendan's take on markets, what he thinks of the current disruption off the back of the Ukraine conflict and how he is doing about building his money, knowledge, and habits. Brendan Malone is an experienced financial services executive who currently serves as CEO of Raiz Invest Australia and Group Chief Operating Officer at Raiz Invest Ltd (ASX: RZI) (previously Acorns Grow Australia). Mr Malone is a driven executive with keen attention to detail who has delivered significant synergies through mergers, acquisitions, restructuring and downsizing across various continents, jurisdictions and regulatory environments. His experience spans a number of sectors of financial services including banking, human resources management, foreign exchange options, accounting, and investment banking. Prior to joining Raiz, Mr Malone was the Managing Director at Management International Group and spent more than a decade in a variety of international roles with the Royal Bank of Scotland. Mr Malone graduated from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
