DAY 15THE PERSECUTED FOLLOWERS OF JESUS  How does this happen? STRENGTH IN WEAKNESS TODAY’S SCRIPTURE READING But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. —2 Cor. 12:9-10 (ESV)  PRAYER + REFLECTION 1. Pray that persecuted Christ-followers would encounter the sufficiency of God’s grace like never before. 2. Pray that persecutors would stop and would come to accept Jesus Christ, as Saul of Tarsus did. 3. Ask God to transform the systems, regimes, empires and beliefs that support or allow persecution. Support the show
