#21 – EP - 15 Perry Brooks - Brooks Boy's BBQ

Episode Notes Perry Brooks from Brooks Boys BBQ is in the house! I met Perry when a group of men in my community was cooking for furloughed workers. Without ever meeting him he volunteered to cook over 10 pork butts and several briskets. All of this while preparing to go out of town for his grandmother's funeral. Within 10 minutes of meeting Perry, I was bent over laughing and learning. He tells us how he "Drug Up" to chase his dream, where his love for cooking came from, why Lemon Drop moonshine is dangerous, and also gives us some hints on how to cook right. He's looking for competition in the BBQ world so we may just have to have one. Pardon the interruptions from the boys on this one, but we ran out of time on all that we wanted to discuss.
