Her journey began with watching her mother struggle with depression, which ultimately led to her mother ending her own life. Life then took Erynne down another messy path when a lip abnormality, deemed to be precancerous due to sun exposure, came into the picture. She discovered that there is no lip gloss on the market that contains SPF. These two separate but messy events inspired Erynne to create her company, appropriately named “Mental”.
