21. From Eternal Companions to Eternal Friends (Kelli's Story)

Kelli grew up deeply rooted in Mormonism, where rules and worthiness shaped her entire identity. She and her husband walked through deconstruction side by side. They traded their garments for coffee runs, tried things once considered off-limits, and together learned what freedom outside the church could look like.Their journey led to them ending their marriage on their anniversary. But instead of bitterness, it opened space for new forms of connection. Kelli even helped introduce her ex-husband to a close friend, and today the three of them remain good friends.
